Xanxus' Scheme is the 122nd chapter of Akira Amano's Katekyō Hitman Reborn!.
Synopsis
Tsuna and the others are shocked at the sight of the Vongola Ninth falling out of Gola Mosca. Xanxus accuses Tsuna of killing the Ninth, but the Ninth suddenly comes to and tells Tsuna that it wasn't his fault. The Ninth goes on to say how he has received updates on Tsuna from Reborn and gives Tsuna a memory through a Dying Will Flame. Tsuna suddenly remembers spending time with the Ninth, and the Ninth smiles at Tsuna and closes his eyes.
Tsuna implores the Ninth to stay awake, and Xanxus swears to kill Tsuna for "slaying the Ninth". Reborn suddenly reaches a conclusion. By making Tsuna the "villain", Xanxus would gain trust from the Famiglia despite the Cradle Affair and prove himself worthy of the position of tenth Vongola Boss. Tsuna ends his crying and tells Xanxus that he would take the Sky Vongola Ring from him.
