Vendicare Prison is a Prison where extremely dangerous criminals are held. The prison has grown a reputation for being inescapable; yet, Mukuro Rokudo and a number of other people led by Mukuro managed this feat.
Although prisoners are doomed to live the rest of their life in this dreadful prison, if allies can make the right kind of deal, it is possible that their release be negotiated.

• The Vendice hold some of the most dangerous criminals in the Mafia World.
• Vendice means "revenge," while vendicare means "to avenge."
• The Vendice Water Prison, located in Europe, suspends those contained in the lowest sections of the prison in Water, making the contained person completely immobile, and as such, all their muscle mass is removed. This is possibly to prevent escape. Mukuro has shown an Ability to use Illusions even inside his cell, a testament to his skill.
• Even Byakuran seems unwilling to go against the Vendicare, as he ended up striking a deal with them twice to release Ghost, a clear sign of their power.
• There are only three Illusionists in the world that can trick Vendice. The third Illusionist is unknown; however, the first two are Mukuro and Flan.
