Revision as of 01:44, 13 July 2019
I chose 2004 as the base year since that's when the manga first began serialization in Jump. And it's easier to organize events when I have some kind of year pinned down. This is my own personal reference, feel free to move the year around for yourself or even ignore it altogether.
Notes:
- Daily Life arc~Varia arc is largely referenced from Vongola 77. The ages are therefore inferred to be the age the character was at the time of their introduction. This supposition based off of Lambo and I-pin being introduced as 5-years-olds, and the databook agreeing as much. Which are some of the few definitive ages mentioned canonically within the manga.
- The EXCEPTION is Tsuna and his agemates + Ryohei. Because if we went off of that rule for Tsuna (he's put down as 14 in the databook), he'd have had two birthdays since his introduction and he'd be a bewildering 16 years old by the end of Varia arc and definitely should've been in high school by then. Let alone Ryohei (who should be 17 by the Varia arc if we went by that logic). So, I've notched down their ages so Tsuna is 14 during Varia arc, (This... is probably what confused Amano.) Those ages are marked with a '*'.
- The reason I mention some birthdays and not others is to easily display the ages the characters were at the time of their introduction.
- Everything after October 28, 2005 is purely based off of my own deductive reasoning supported by various parts of the manga. Everything is sourced as much as possible.
- Vongola 77 scans
- Recommended best view is Desktop Mode, particularly with the Future Arc sections. Different timelines/parallel worlds are colored differently from the world "our" Tsuna originates from.

❗ 6/1/2019 MAJOR EDITORIAL NOTICE: In chapter 140 Reborn tells Tsuna they were transported "9 years and 10 months" into the future. However, this is the only time it's been mentioned, as far as I've found. (Feel free to correct me.) And considering all the other references to how time has progressed— e.g. Ryohei spending approximately a month looking for everyone across Japan. Whereas if they were displaced 9 years and 10 months, he shouldn't have even noticed anyone going missing for more than a day or two before everyone was returned.— it's my belief Amano either forgot about this detail or chose to ignore it. So, henceforth, I will also disregard it. Feel free to adjust accordingly. (You can also make the claim that only Reborn was transported early. But, that's going into further headcanon territory. Which, I did my best to avoid here, and stuck as much to deductive reasoning as possible.) ❗ |

- ↑ YazzyDream notes: Japanese school years begin in April and end in March the following year. So, Tsuna and Shoichi's third year of middle school begins in April 2006 and ends on March 2007. On top of that, Tsuna is wearing the Namimori summer uniform in Shoichi's flashback, which is worn from June 1st-October 1st.
- ↑ YazzyDream notes: Japanese high schools last three years. So, Shoichi finished high school in March 2010. While it's likely he didn't start college until August/September 2010, there's a chance he joined in an earlier semester, so I'll leave it as a possibility.

- ↑ YazzyDream notes: Tsuna is still a second-year student in class 2-A. Technically, that means the events of the Inheritance arc can happen anywhere between right after they got back in December through to March, which is when the school year ends. However, it seems to me that at least some time has passed between chapter 283 and 284. And then there's the Representative Battle Arc which is happening while Tsuna's still in school after this Arc. It also seems more likely that the Simon students would transfer in at the beginning of the new term, which would be early January.

YazzyDream notes: At the beginning of chapter 409, the narration says "Peaceful days after the battle" and then Tsuna says, "No school today either, what should I do?" In chapter 409, "One week later" Tsuna attends a regular school day. Considering all of that, and the other parallels Amano wrote to chapter 1, it's likely Tsuna has just finished his second year of middle school and chapter 407 to Reborn leaving is happening in the week break between moving up a grade. Thus, when Reborn returns to tutor Tsuna to be the Vongola Neo Primo, Tsuna is a fresh third year student.
