Spelling/Styling[]
Ok so this one might be a little contentious but since we've been doing a lot of spelling discussions lately I thought it might be worth mentioning at the very least: in all the material I've seen where the series name is written in full English (including all the brillante cards backgrounds) its written as "Katekyo" with a regular o rather then the macron ō. I'm sure the wiki probably defaulted to using ō because the proper japanese spelling includes the character for u at the end but since we've changed over other instances of o vs ō it seems reasonable to apply that to all instances of the word katekyo as well.

- Hmm, for this page and the card games, which have somewhat official English translations, changing it to "Katekyo" is agreeable. But for Japanese-only articles such as Katekyō Hitman Reborn! Vongola Saikyo no Carnival 2008 or Katekyō Hitman Reborn! DS Fate of Heat III - Yuki no Shugosha Raishuu!, I don't know if it will be consistent? -MrAceAttorney (Press | Court Record) 14:18, May 25, 2019 (UTC)
- That's fair! Shall I go ahead and rename this page and the card game pages then if that's alright? And for pages like the ones listing all the manga chapters or anime episodes should it be left with the ō or changed to the regular o. Also, I have copies of several of the games and I recall that at least one of them spells the title out in English characters on a loading screen (just romanization though not a direct translation), if I manage to catch a photo of these would it be alright to change the titles accordingly on those articles if there's a difference? (Sorry to bring up so many name changes I'd just like to try and help things be as accurate as possible;;) -Fox 14:17, May 26, 2019 (UTC)
- Yes please. Include the lists when you rename. Also, I never noticed the romanized names on youtube playthroughs. If ever some are spelled with "o", then go ahead. Again, no problem on these things. Thanks for all your help and concern. :)) -MrAceAttorney (Press | Court Record) 16:38, May 26, 2019 (UTC)
