Flan

This weeks chapter (260) had a character spread with Romanizations of pretty much every character in the series. The spread plainly shows that his name is "Flan" not "Fran". So please do not revert this edit.

When I'm looking at the picture, I can't see clearly what's written there. The letters are over the black coat and I only can see clearly the A an N. Most of the names are very bad to read. So for me the issue of Frans/Flans name is not out of the world. If you have a high resolution pic of that poster that clearly shows the letters of his name, I'm satisfied.

I can only plead that I wasn't the only one who thought the scan of the page from the spoiler read "Flan", including a lot of people who had thought it was "Fran" before. When I saw Crunchyroll translating it as "Flan" I was sure everyone else was wrong because the subs were official, so I guess I saw what I wanted to see. Well, I was wrong. According to reborn volume 25, his profile is top secret. He is scouted to Varia, nearly kidnapped by Belphegor and Squalo.

Can I have a scan with this info? I just went through volume 25 and found nothing.

Where was Fran's age listed? I can't seem to locate a source. It might be better to not list an age if it's just speculation.

According to the way the characters pronounce it, and Crunchyroll's translation, his name is indeed Flan, not Fran. Jesus a lot of names have been changed this past month...AlienGamer ^{(Userpage ⁝ Talk)} 17:51, July 24, 2010 (UTC)

Uhh, if you look at the image in his character song CD, it says "Fran" in roman letters. As for the subs on Crunchyroll, volunteers sub the simulcast, and therefore it's not 100% accurate. Pikangie 04:51, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

ehh i don't really wanna get into this but wikipedia's also a volunteer-supported community... all you need is a registered account and you're all set to edit. I just took a look at that image mentioned to have "Flan", and it looks to me like it says "Fran"... http://www.ourmanga.com/manga/Katekyo_Hitman_Reborn/Chapter-260/01-02.jpg As for his age, he seems more like he would be in his late teens more than the early 20's(I'm just basing it on his voice/height compared to other characters), but I wouldn't be sure until Akira Amano decides to release that information. Look, most Asians, who can't speak English without a hint of their accent, tend to pronounce "r" like "l" and "l" like "r", either way it's correct. Just like that manga/anime Erementar Gerade when if you say it in English it's Elemental Gelade. Get it? Darkdoll25 02:01, July 31, 2011 (UTC)

rename revisit

I'm seeing his name spelled 'Fran' in the anime merchandise I've seen. (eg Special_Illusion) We just need confirmation from a manga volume's character page, then I think this should be moved. Any way you can find one, Ace? YazzyDream★ 01:17, March 23, 2019 (UTC)

Other than Chapter 260's cover, I can't find any where he is featured. He is always grouped with Varia. So far, we have Brillante, CCG, Colore, and Character song album + Chapter 260. Is it enough to rename this page? -MrAceAttorney (Press | Court Record) 04:16, March 23, 2019 (UTC)
