The Six Funeral Wreaths, also known as the Guardians of the Millefiore Famiglia, is a powerful group created by Byakuran. The members are the bearers of Mare Rings.

Overview

Byakuran gathered these six members in secret and revealed them to Tsuna and his friends after they had returned to the future from completing the Arcobaleno Trials in the anime. These six people are said to have extraordinary battle techniques and capabilities and were selected for their resolution and strength. Similar to the Vongola Box Weapons used by the Vongola Guardians , the Six Funeral Wreaths use their own special set of Box Weapons called the Asura Boxes, which change the user into a living weapon. Each member has 100 A-ranked subordinates.

According to Kikyo, they were all humans that reigned over other parallel worlds. However, in this world, things were different due to their misfortune. Byakuran changed their weaknesses to strengths. They were informed about the abilities of the Vongola and its allies by Byakuran, who travelled to parallel worlds to gather the information.

Fake Six Funeral Wreaths

The Fake Six Funeral Wreaths were the holders of the Fake Mare Rings and the people who at first were thought to be the legitimate holders of the Mare Rings.

Although powerful in their own right, the members of the group existed to hide the existence of the real Funeral Wreaths, who were unknown to anyone other than Byakuran at the time.

The members of this group were equipped with high grade replicas of the Mare Rings and all had high positions within the Millefiore. Byakuran used the Fake Wreaths to run the Millefiore's many squads and to gauge the strength of the Vongola Famiglia.

Trivia

  • The Real Six Funeral Wreaths are all named after plants:
  • All of the plants have the color of the characters' respective flame, even Byakuran who, even with the Sky Flame, disguised it in white.
  • The Fake Cloud Funeral Wreath was never revealed. It is possible that the Fake Cloud Funeral Wreath was Nigella Beabankul, as he could be a former Mare Ring wielder.[1]
    • Nigella was one of the escorts that took Uni to meet Byakuran in this chapter, and Byakuran states that her escorts are the "wielders of the Mare Ring," which would make him an ideal candidate to be a Fake Funeral Wreath. It is, however, possible that someone else was the Fake Cloud Funeral Wreath (possibly a member of the White Spell).
