The Shigure Kintoki is a special sword which is meant to be used for Shigure Soen Ryu techniques. It has the ability to change forms between a bamboo sword and a katana.
Origins
The Shigure Kintoki has been passed down through Yamamoto's Family for generations, used only by those who could master the Shigure Soen Ryu. The sword can be used in both forms (the bamboo form and the katana/sword form), but its true form (katana/sword) is only usable by people who can perform the Shigure Soen Ryu style; otherwise, it is always in its bamboo form.
