Shigure Kintoki

A special sword used by Yamamoto, it has the ability to change forms between a bambo sword and a katana.

Origins

The Shigure Kintoki , has been passed down through Yamamoto's family for generations, used only by those who could master the Shigure Soen Ryu style. The sword can be used in both forms (the bamboo form and the katana/sword form)but its true form(katana/sword) is only usable by people who can perform the Shigure Soen Ryu style, otherwise it is always in its bamboo form.

Abilites

The sword being only usable with the Shigure Soen, is limited to the eight original forms plus the others created by Yamamoto. This isn't to say it is still useful as the Shigure Soen is one of the deadliest sword style around.It can also be coated in rain flames adding on extra damage. Kojirou, the Vongola box weapon, can combine with the Shigure Kintoki to create the legendary Asari Ugetsu blade.

Shigure Soen

The Main purpose of the blade is to be used with styles eight original forms and the others created by Yamamoto.

Forms

• 1 Shajiku no Ame 車軸の雨 (Axle of Rain) - Offensive. Yamamoto charges forward and attacks with a thrust.

• 2 Sakamaku Ame 逆巻く雨 (Raging Rain) - Defensive. Yamamoto lifts waves of water around him then ducks, putting his sword protectively in front.

• 3 Yarazu no Ame 遣らずの雨 (Last Minute Rain) - Offensive. Used by Yamamoto to save Chrome in the Sky fight. Yamamoto drops the katana kicking it with his foot to send it flying in a stab.

• 4 Gofuu Juuu 五風十雨 (May Wind, October Rain) - Defensive. Used by Yamamoto against Genkishi Battle 2. Yamamoto synchronizes with one's opponent's breathing to evade attacks. Called "a supreme evasive technique" by Squalo.

• 5 Samidare　五月雨 (Summer Rain) - Offensive. Shown in the fight against Squalo. Yamamoto slashes diagonally but in midway he drops the sword, switching hands, before finishing the attack. Able to put off the timing in his opponent.

• 6 Unknown, likely defensive.

• 7 Shibuki Ame　繁吹き雨 (Splashing Rain) - Defensive. Used in the Rain fight. Yamamoto holds the sword backwards and spins to create a whirlwind like shield.

• 8 Shinotsuku Ame　篠突く雨 (Surging Rain) - Offensive. Created by Yamamoto's father when saving a friend. Uses the blade of the sword to cut around the bearer.

• 9 Utsushi Ame　うつし雨 (Reflective Rain) - Offensive. Created by Yamamoto during his fight with Squalo and the move that defeated him. Yamamoto makes a tidal wave with his sword then defends and when his opponent attacks his reflection from behind he attacks from the front.

• 10 Scontro di Rodine (Clash of the Swallow) - Offensive. Created by Yamamoto in the Future Arc while training with Reborn. Seems to be a tidal wave of water that surrounds him while he charges, led by the swallow from his box

• 11 Beccata di Rodine (Swallow's Beak) - Offensive. Yamamoto thrusts his blade multiple times with one hand.

• Aggregate Art: Jiunoka (Shower's Transformation) - Yamamoto assaults the enemy and any box weapons with rain flames, causing them to slow down to the point that they appear to be frozen in place. As the title implies (and as Reborn verifies), this technique is a combination of all of the other forms to some extent.
