The Tsuchinoko is a large snake with a large stomach. It is very closely related to a viper and comes from Japan and is a legendary snake. It is between 30-80 centimeters long and are capable of jumping due to its large stomach. It is believed that it can roll up if it bites its tail.

The Tsuchinoko is [[Baishana]]'s box weapon also known as Serpente Tempesta. [[Gokudera]] was excited when he first saw the Tsuchinoko because it was on his list of legendary creatures to see before he dies. [[Ryohei]] mentions that a real Tsuchinoko was found 3 years ago, and therefore the Tsuchinoko box weapon was created recently, Baishana claims it was created by Koenig himself.

The Serpe Tempesta is a Storm-attribute Animal-type Box Weapon used by Baishana.

Appearance

It is based on a U.M.A. called a Tsuchinoko. The Serpe Tempesta has brown scales and and a black belly. Its entire back and forked tongue is covered in Storm Flames.

Abilities

Due to the Disintegration characteristic of the Storm Flame, its scales and anything that touches them will be pulverized.

It is the first Box Weapon to possess the mechanism to power up itself by preying upon other Box Weapons. Its stats grow along with its size and ultimately all but Intelligence become A-Rank.[1]
