TV version[]

Japanese[]

<Kondo>
<Iida>

<Kondo>

<Iida>

Romaji[]

<Kondo> Sakura saku mai ochiru
nani mo nai boku no te no ue
<Iida> Hakanakute yasashikute
koware sou kimi mitai na hana

<Kondo> Itsumo no kaisatsu wo
surinukete iku ano kowa sou
Kagayaku me wo shite
mainichi nanika tsukami totte iku nda

<Iida> Boku wa to ieba
nani mo nai mainichi kurikaeshite
Hieta kokoro motte sa
hana hiraku shunkan sagashite me wo tojiru

<Both> Sakura saku mai ochiru
nani mo nai boku no te no ue
Hakanakute yasashikute
koware sou kimi mitai na hana

English[]

<Kondo> The cherry blossoms dance,
falling into my empty hand.
<Iida> Ephemeral, gentle, and fragile,
this flower that seems like you.

<Kondo> The child who usually slips
through the gates as usual
His eyes sparkling
as he grabs something.

<Iida> And as for me,
my empty days go on
With a cold heart,
I wait for the flowers to bloom, and I close my eyes.

<Both> The cherry blossoms dance,
falling into these empty hands
Ephemeral, gentle, and fragile,
this flower that seems like you.

Full version[]

The original version by Splay is the same as the character song version, except for the line:

苦いビール持ってさ空けようかどうか悩んで夜が明ける
Nigai bīru motte sa akeyou ka dō ka nayande yoru ga akeru
With a bitter beer, I wonder whether to open it, and wait for the dawn

which is replaced with:

冷えた心持ってさ花開く瞬間探して目を閉じる
Hieta kokoro motte sa hana hiraku shunkan sagashite me wo tojiru
With a cold heart, I wait for the flowers to bloom, and I close my eyes

His eyes sparkling
as he grabs ahold of something.

<Both> The cherry blossoms, it flutters down,
on my hand where there is nothing
Ephemeral, gentle, and fragile,
this flower that seems like you.

<Iida> I put away the dirtied spike
deep inside my heart
<Kondo> You are searching for
the Spring's escape route, saying, "This is good enough."

<Both> aren't you?

<Kondo> The ball I lost and gave up on
The one who found it for me, it was you wasn't it?

<Iida> The spring comes, blossoms and prides,
the ground sways by the wind
Stepped on firmly, burst out crying,
likely to overflow, the flower that seems like you.

<Both> I have come, to retrieve the lost article
that is here, on my hand
Ephemeral, gentle, and fragile,
this flower that seems like you.
