This is a list of all the characters who appeared or are mentioned briefly throughout the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! series. This also contains characters who only appeared in one scene or panel but have their names and information revealed in other media such as Katekyō Hitman Reborn! Vongola 77.

Vongola Famiglia[]

  • Enrico Fermi (エンリコ・フェルーミ, Enriko Ferūmi?),[1] Massimo Ranieri (マッシーモ・ラニエリ, Masshīmo Ranieri?),[1] and Federico Ferrino (フェデリコ・フェリーノ, Federiko Ferīno?)[1] are the late sons of Timoteo and former Vongola Decimo candidates. Enrico was the most qualified person and the leading candidate to inherit the title of Vongola Decimo before he was shot and killed in a gunfight. Massimo was the second-in-line after Enrico was killed, but was drowned. Reborn describes Massimo as "the young no. 2." Federico was the favored one, but was killed through unknown circumstances, and only his bones remained.
  • Giannichi (ジャンニーイチ, Jannīichi?) is Giannini's father and the best weapon tuner of the Vongola Famiglia. He is famous for his ability to "awaken" a weapon. According to Reborn, weapon tuning and upgrading for the Vongola Famiglia has always been Giannichi's family's job. He and Reborn are close friends, and Giannini stated that Reborn had always been a close friend of he and his father.[2][3]
  • Totem Ross (トーテム・ロス, Tōtemu Rosu?) is the future Varia jewelry designer after Xanxus took over as boss. In a potential future, he created the design for the 10-year-later Varia Rings. He designed 100 variations that were rejected by Lussuria before the final design was settled upon.[4]

Millefiore Famiglia[]

  • Luigi (ルイジ, Ruiji?) was a communications officer who died recently. He was replaced by an F-rank officer named Leonardo Lippi.[5]
  • Freesia (フリージア, Furījia?) is a member of White Spell. He is in the party assigned to search for Tsuna after the battle with Spanner's Moska units.[6]
  • Nikola (ニコラ, Nikora?) is a commander of a reconnaissance unit in White Spell. During the Invasion of the Merone Base, Chrome used illusions to disguise herself and her companions as his unit.[7]

Simon Famiglia[]

  • Mami Kozato (古里 真美, Kozato Mami?)[8] is Enma Kozato's sister. She was first mentioned by Enma when he revealed that Tsuna's father murdered his family.[9] She then appeared in one of Enma's dreams about her and her family's death. In Demon Spade's recollection of the Flood of Blood, he revealed that he was the one responsible for killing Mami and her parents 7 years ago while disguised as Iemitsu Sawada.[10]
  • Makoto Kozato (古里 真, Kozato Makoto?)[10] is Enma Kozato's father. He was a dealer of old paintings and was accused to have initiated the Flood of Blood incident after killing twelve members of the CEDEF. He and his family was killed by Demon disguised as Iemitsu.

Miscellaneous mafioso[]

  • Christine Hattori (服部クリスティーン, Hattori Kurisutīn?),[11] also known as Renko (レンコ, Renko?), is one of Longchamp's girlfriends. She accompanied Longchamp during the cruise to Mafia Land.[13] When they arrived at their destination, Tsuna questioned Longchamp about Renko. He dismisses her, stating that he had broken up with her long ago. She is actually a spy from the Carcassa Famiglia.
  • Shizue Murota (室田 静江, Murota Shizue?)[11] is a front desk receptionist at Mafia Land. She gave Tsuna a Mafia qualification test since he does not have an invitation.[14]
  • Tony (トニー, Tonī?) was one of the test subjects of the Estraneo Famiglia. He was briefly mentioned by Ken as his and Chikusa's friend when they were still members of Estraneo. During one of experiments of the researchers, Tony was killed by one of the researchers because he was struggling.[15]

Namimori[]

Namimori Middle School[]

  • Renzo Oshikiri (押切 連造, Oshikiri Renzō?)[11] is a third-year student and is the captain of the Karate club. He was the leader of Team B during the pole-knocking contest. During the final part of the contest, Oshikiri was attacked by someone, presumably Reborn, in a bathroom, after which his and Takada's teams banded together to take down Team A.[16] He is mentioned as to having been attacked and losing seven teeth, indicating he was ranked seventh in Namimori Junior High's fighting strength rankings.[17] He has a cousin who is an Olympic athlete.
  • Gosuke Takada (高田 剛助, Takada Gōsuke?)[11] is a third-year student and is the captain of the Sumo club. He was the leader of Team C during the pole-knocking contest. During the final part of the contest, Takada was attacked Gokudera and Ryohei, after which his and Oshikiri's teams banded together to take down Team A.[18] He is the youngest among his eight siblings.
  • Ushio Ooyama (大山 牛雄, Ōyama Ushio?)[11] is the captain of the Karate club in the anime. He easily defeated a boxing club member, Kamiyama (神山, Kamiyama?), but is also easily defeated by Ryohei. Later, he arrives with his brother Daigoro and the high school karate club to challenge the boxing club for Kyoko Sasagawa so she could be their manager. They are easily defeated by Ryohei, Gokudera, Yamamoto, and Bianchi. Ooyama's voice actor is Hiroshi Yasuda, same as Moretti.[19]
  • Taniguchi (谷口, Taniguchi?) is a student and member of the baseball team of Namimori Middle School. During a baseball practice, he asked Yamamoto what he thought of Kaoru. Yamamoto wonders who he is, thinking him to be a graduate student or someone's dad, but Taniguchi reveals him to be a transfer student. When Yamamoto asks Taniguchi why he didn't invite him to practice, Taniguchi defends himself by stating that Kaoru would definitely cause trouble.[20]
  • Minoru Yoshida (吉田 実, Yoshida Minoru?)[11] is Tsuna's classmate. He asked Tsuna to be part of the volleyball tournament because they are short of one member.[21]
  • Hajime Azuma (東 一, Azuma Hajime?),[11] Jiro Chinda (珍田 次郎, Chinda Jirō?),[11] and Yozo Kannazuki (神無月 陽三, Kannazuki Yōzō?)[11] are third year students in Namimori Middle School. They are delinquents Tsuna bumped into after Gokudera transferred to their school.[22]
  • Nocchi (のっち, Nocchi?) is a representative of the Namimori Middle gardening club. He and two others questioned why the Disciplinary Committee would reserve the reception room by themselves.[23]
  • Tsuneo Aikawa (哀川 常男, Aikawa Tsuneo?)[11] is a member of the Namimori Middle Disciplinary Committee. He was ordered by Hibari to chase away people from the Sakura Viewing area because he doesn't want to view them with a crowd. He was beaten up by Gokudera for blocking them, then by Hibari for being weak.[24] His favorite phrase is "Red Tape".
  • Enomoto (エノモト, Enomoto?) is the Namimori Middle School athletics coach. He is seen yelling to his P.E. class that whoever came last in a race he would be conducting, he would be swimming with the girls. After Tsuna had been helped by his friends, however, Tsuna still came last and swam with the girls, becoming last even there.[25] His japanese voice actor is Kosuke Takeuchi[26] and his italian voice actor is Marcello Moronesi.
  • Teppei Oda (小田 哲平, Oda Teppei?)[11] and Koji Sato (佐藤 浩二, Satō Kōji?)[11] are childhood friends and Tsuna's classmates. They both commented on Tsuna skipping school to participate in the Vongola Ring Conflict.[27]
  • Osamu Abe (阿部 オサム, Abe Osamu?),[11] known as Osamu Kaneda in the anime, is Tsuna's classmate. During the Parent's Participation Day at Namimori Middle School, Reborn takes over the class after the teacher leaves to take an unconscious Hayato Gokudera to the nurse. When Reborn tells the class to solve a complicated equation, Osamu stands up, saying that he refused to put up with him. Reborn promptly attacks Osamu and his mother with two pieces of chalk, knocking them unconscious.[28] His voice actor is Masaru Hotta.[29]

Namimori High School[]

  • Daigoro Ooyama (大山 大五郎, Ōyama Daigorō?)[11] is the captain of the Namimori High School karate club. He arrives with his brother Ushio and his karate club to challenge Ryohei's boxing club to have Kyoko as their manager, but were easily defeated by Ryohei, Gokudera, Yamamoto, and Bianchi. His voice actor is Kazuya Sueyoshi.[19]

Other civilians[]

  • An unnamed delivery man working in Namimori is frequently seen throughout the series. His truck seems to always get dented whenever Tsuna, in Dying Will Mode, runs around through town and hits his truck. It seems he is very proud of his job and has delivered every delivery package he has on time, willing to risk his life to do so. He's been a delivery man for 15 years.[30]
  • Kaori Furuta (古田 香, Furuta Kaori?)[11] is a coffee shop clerk. When Reborn tried to buy espresso on credit, she treated him like a kid. Reborn threatened her with a gun, but Kyoko arrives and offers to pay for his espresso.[31]
  • Toshiko Sano (佐野年子, Sano Toshiko?)[11] is the head nurse of Namimori Hospital. When Tsuna was hospitalized, she frequently scolds him for bringing guests that might frighten other patients. She transfered Tsuna to multiple rooms before settling on a suspicious-looking area.[32] She likes ikemen.
  • Sadaharu Uchida (内田 貞治, Uchida Sadaharu?)[11] is the manager of Namimori Ball batting cages. He compliments Yamamoto for his skills in baseball.[33]
  • Daigo Kazumi (数見大吾, Kazumi Daigo?)[11] is the leader of the dojo yaburi group and is 8th place in the Karate National Tournament. The other members are Kenshiro Yamaki (八巻 健四郎, Yamaki Kenshirō?)[11] who is 10th in the Karate Nationals, and Nobuhiko Kakuta (角田 信彦, Kakuta Nobuhiko?)[11] who is 16th in the Karate District Tournament. The three of them stormed Namimori Dojo to get their fourth signboard, but was easily defeated by ten-years-later I-Pin.[34]
  • Sakura Kikumomo (菊桃 桜, Kikumomo Sakura?) is a famous gravure idol in Namimori. One of her posters is seen in Longchamp's room.[35] Yamamoto and Yukio Kisanuki are fans of hers.
  • Sawako Narita (成田 沢子, Narita Sawako?),[11] also known as Rikopin (リコピン, Rikopin?), is one of the girls that Longchamp had invited to go bowling along with Tsuna and Gokudera. She has a hobby of turning all of the guys she likes into ornaments.[36]
  • Tsuruta Hanako (鶴田 花子, Tsuruta Hanako?),[11] also known as Mayu-Mayu (まゆまゆ, Mayumayu?), is one of the girls that Longchamp had invited to go bowling along with Tsuna and Gokudera. She does not speak and is constantly pantomiming.[36]
  • Chrome's unnamed biological mother is a famous actress, while her stepfather is an assistant manager in a famous overseas company.[11] In a flashback during the Mist Ring Battle, the mother was complaining to her husband about Chrome's condition and how she fails to understand the girl who no one wants alive. Similarly, the stepfather was complaining that Chrome caused him to miss an important meeting, and that there was also a chance to save her. The mother refused to sacrifice herself for a girl she couldn't understand, causing him to disapprove. He told his wife to do as she likes and returned to work. Their words were unknowingly heard by Chrome in the ICU.[37][38]
  • Eiji Kuroda (黒田 エイジ, Kuroda Eiji?),[11] Yukio Kisanuki (木佐貫 幸郎, Kisanuki Yukio?),[11] and Takuya Ookura (大倉 拓哉, Ookura Takuya?)[11] are lifeguards at a beach in Namimori. They met Tsuna and his friends during their trip to the beach and were interested with the girls of the group. They challenged Tsuna, Gokudera, and Yamamoto to a swimming race looping on an island near the beach. Their colleagues waited in the island to sabotage their opponents, but was defeated later on.[39] Kuroda is a boxing club alumnus in Namimori Middle, Kisanuki is a former heavyweight and a fan of Sakura Kikumomo, and Ookura takes three hours to set his dreadlocks.
  • Takeshi Yamanaka (山中 武, Yamanaka Takeshi?) was a man in the world ten-years-later who was mistaken to be Takeshi Yamamoto. Gamma and his crew was tasked by the Millefiore Famiglia to find Takeshi Yamamoto, but found Takeshi Yamanaka instead. When they found out it was the wrong person, Gamma ordered Tazaru to kill Yamanaka.[40][41]

Longchamp's girlfriends[]

  • Terumi Gomi (五味 照美, Gomi Terumi?),[11] also known as Terumin (テルミン, Terumin?), was introduced during the class president election of class-A.[42] When Longchamp showed her off to the class, she became embarrassed and promptly left. After introducing Mako-tin, Longchamp said to Tsuna that he had broken up with Terumi long ago. However, through the Desolation Bullet, Longchamp revealed that she had actually dumped him.[43]
  • Mako Yuide (湯出 真子, Yuide Mako?),[11] also known as Mako-tin (マコてぃーん, Makotīn?), a 68-year-old lady who went to Namimori Middle and asked Tsuna to deliver an exchange diary to Longchamp.[43]
  • Shoko Tanaka (田中 翔子, Tanaka Shōko?),[11] also known as Sanappi (さなっぴ, Sanappi?) appeared from under all of Longchamp's junk when Tsuna and his friends visited Longchamp's house. She left afterwards, stating that she had to get to work.[44] She returns during the bowling trip and finds out that Longchamp had assumed she dumped him. She saves him from Rikopin then leaves with him.[36] Her hobby is "cleanliness".
  • Mekiko (メキコ, Mekiko?)[45] and Longchamp were on a date while the students of Namimori Middle School were being attacked by Kokuyo Junior High Gang. Longchamp is her second boyfriend. She likes animals. Her femininity, cuteness, and diligence levels are low, while her compassion and gentleness are high.
  • Antares (アンタレス, Antaresu?)[45] is on a date with Longchamp during the arrival of the Varia to Namimori. She is composed of 80% water and smells like dried futon. Her humanity, helplessness, fragility, and emptiness levels are very low, while futon-likeness is very high.

Giotto and Cozzato's memories[]

  • Paolo (パオロ, Paoro?) was a man who lived in Giotto, Simon Cozzato, and G's hometown. He was mentioned in the first Key of Cozzato and Giotto's memories. He is said to be very poor. Giotto, Cozzato and G deliberately dropped money in his shed so that he could feed himself and his family.[46]
  • Franco (フランコ, Furanko?) is a friend of Giotto, G, and Cozzato. He was shown in the second second Key, severely injured because of thugs that wanted a 90% off discount, Franco refusing to give it to them.[47]
  • Magi (マギー, Magī?) is one of children shown in the eighth Key. She, along with other Simon Famiglia children, were playing at Simon Island's waterfall while Cozzato and the other adults were watching them. Magi went up to Cozzato and stated that she wanted more friends, but Cozzato apologized to her and said to her to bear it for a while longer, since Simon Famiglia had decided to hide in the shadows to deceive Demon Spade. However, Cozzato stated that he and Giotto believed that Magi's descendants would someday be able to laugh together with the Vongola descendants.[48]

Other creatures[]

Arcobaleno's partners[]

  • Cosmo (コスモ, Kosumo?)[49] is Luce's partner. It is an orange squirrel that usually sits atop Luce's head. Its whereabouts are unknown, but Uni said that Cosmo should still be alive somewhere, but she doesn't know where.[50]
  • Cayman[51] (ケイマン, Keiman?)[49] is Verde's partner. It is a green caiman with the ability to change its size.
  • Reach[52] (リーチ, Rīchi?)[49] is Fon's partner. It is a red-faced white monkey that can normally be seen sitting atop Fon's head.
  • Falco[53] (ファルコ, Faruko?)[49] is Colonnello's partner. It is a white and black falcon that can carry Colonnello's Arcobaleno form from one place to another. It is also seen carrying some of Colonnello's equipment.
  • Fantasma[54] (ファンタズマ, Fantazuma?)[49] is Viper's partner. It usually appears as a dark green frog sitting atop Viper's head. When Viper removes the seals from their Arcobaleno Pacifier, Fantasma becomes a yellow and white snake that bites its tail with its head to form a halo, similar to an ouroboros. It allows Viper to float and assists them on their illusions.
  • Tako[55] (大ダコ, Oodako?)[49] is Skull's partner. Known as the Giant armored octopus (巨大ヨロイダコ, Kyodai yoroidako?)[56], its tentacles imitates follow Skull's arm and finger movements. Skull uses Tako during his battles. Once, when Skull raided Mafia Land with the Carcassa Famiglia, Reborn shot Skull's hand with a bullet, enlarging Skull's hand and confusing Tako. Tako didn't recognize the command, and Skull lost control of it.

Namimori Animal Park[]

  • Saizou is a hippopotamus held at Namimori Animal Park. Reborn made friends with Saizou when Tsuna and Kyoko were on their date. Saizou was first seen when Tsuna and the others gathered together when the lions were let loose.[57] Its name could be a combination of sai (?, rhino) and (?, elephant).
  • Shimatta is a red panda, held at Namimori Animal Park. It is the only red panda in the world that zen meditates. When it meditates, it can't hear or feel anything until the meditation is over. Shimatta was seen when Tsuna and the others visited the zoo. It had climbed all the way to the roller coaster to meditate. When it was about to get run over by the roller coaster, Tsuna saved him. Kyoko was really excited to see it and was terrified when it was in danger, which was also Tsuna's motivation to save Shimatta. Its name could come from shimatta (しまった?), an exclamatory swear word in Japanese loosely translated to "oh no!" or "shoot!"
