The Rain-attribute Vongola Box Weapon is Takeshi Yamamoto's Rain-attribute Vongola Box Weapon. It contains both Rondine di Pioggia ver. Vongola and Cane di Pioggia ver. Vongola nicknamed Kojiro and Jiro respectively.
Description
The Rain-attribute Vongola Box Weapon was created by combining a remodeled Rondine di Pioggia into Rondine di Pioggia Ver. Vongola ((
Abilities
Kojiro's basic performance is the same as the normal Rondine di Pioggia, but it can combine with Yamamoto's Shigure Kintoki through Cambio Forma to change its shape into the longsword weapon.
Also, as shown during the Choice Battle, it is capable of showering Rain Flames, affecting targets with the Tranquility characteristic.
- Waves ((波, Nami?))
- Pioggia Shield ((
雨 シールド, Piojja (Ame) Shīrudo?)) - Concentrated Downpour ((集中豪雨, Shūchū Gōu?))
- Assault ((突撃, Totsugeki?))
- Pecking ((つつき, Tsutsuki?))
Jiro provides support by carrying Yamamoto's three short swords. And has never been shown in direct combat so not much is known about its fighting capacities.
Cambio Forma
Ugetsu Asari's Four Irregular Swords[1][2] ((朝利雨月の変則四刀, Asari Ugetsu no hensoku yontō?)) is a set of four swords consisting of one long sword and three short swords. This set of swords is based on the ones used by the First Generation Vongola Guardian of the Rain Ring, Ugetsu Asari.
It was said that Asari Ugetsu loved the flute, but when he heard that the Vongola Primo had encountered danger, he immediately sold off his treasured flute for this set of swords to aid him. Through future Vongola technology, Yamamoto uses a similar set of swords through Cambio Forma.
The long sword is originally Shigure Kintoki. But like Tsuna's wool mittens transform, so too does Shigure Kintoki when Yamamoto uses Cambio Forma.
It also has the Roman Numeral I on it to symbolize the connection with the First Generation. What is different is that the short swords have blades made of rain flames (thus allowing variation of length) and can be used as propellants.

Trivia
- Kojiro's nickname is based on the Japanese swordsman Sasaki Kojirō, infamous for his sword technique "Tsubame Gaeshi" ((燕返し, tsubame gaeshi?, lit. swallow reversal)). He was also known for his skill with the Japanese longsword nodachi.
- Reborn refers to the long sword as a "nagakatana" in the anime, which is a term used to describe Japanese regular swords of extraordinary length in the 15th century.
- In line with Yamamoto's typical Japanese image, the Cane di Pioggia is based on the dog breed Akita Inu.
