Template:Chapter InfoboxMammon's New Fighting Potential is the three hundred and forty-seventh chapter of Akira Amano's Katekyō Hitman Reborn!.

Synopsis

In the Varia headquarters, Mammon just finished bathing when he received a letter from Reborn especially for the Arcobaleno. From the letter, Mammon learns that Reborn has gotten a hint regarding the Arcobaleno curse. Before Mammon finishes reading the letter, Belphegor enters the room and tells him that there's an emergency meeting. At the meeting room, Squalo announces that they will be recruiting a new Varia leader, surprising the everyone in the room except Xanxus. From the memories of their battle in the future, the Varia recalls that Flan was appointed as the new leader. While everyone else is arguing over the topic at hand, Mammon ignores all the commotion since he's solely focusing on Reborn's letter and the fact that he might must have to tell Xanxus of his curse entirely. Because he is deep in thought, he failed to see food being thrown at him and as a result, the letter becomes heavily stained with food. He immediately excused himself from the table so he can continue reading his letter. However, he cannot read the most important part of the letter due to the stain and his pride won't let him ask other Arcobaleno for him. In the midst of his confusion, Belphegor interrupts him and informs him that they will go to France, Jura to retrieve Flan. Knowing that there's a pacifier spring that could lightened his pacifier and allow him to read the rest of the letter, Mammon decides to follow along. As they arrived in France, they all go to Flan's grandmother's house to ask about him. Flan's grandmother tells them that Flan has gone playing at the upstream of the river. The Varia heads out and arrived at their destination, but found the Kokuyo Gang (Mukuro, Ken, Chikusa, and M.M) there instead, who turns out to be also looking for Flan. While exchanging words, they noticed a figure wearing a huge apple hat on the river while commenting that his grandmother's lunchboxes were horrible, which Belphegor points out that the boy is Flan.
