Lambo is a 5-year-old hitman, who often refers to himself in third person as Lambo-san affiliated with the Bovino ("Bovino" means "Cattle" in Italian) Famiglia. He is the Vongola Lightning Guardian and the youngest Guardian. He was born in Italy. His main choice of weapons are pink hand grenades, and his future dream is to rule the world. Lambo dresses in a cow suit complete with a tail, and has a huge afro with horns on the sides of his head, which gives him the appearance of a bison. He comes to Japan to kill Reborn so he can prove that he is worthy of becoming his own Family's Boss. However, he is a complete crybaby and is no match for Reborn.
For the most part of the Daily Life Arc, Lambo tries to kill Reborn several times without much success. At the same time, he befriends Tsuna's Mom and is soon a common staple around the Sawada household, much to Tsuna's annoyance.
During the Ring Tournament, Lambo is chosen to be the holder of the Ring of Lightning. He participates in the Lightning Ring Battle. The night before the Lightning Ring Battle, Adult Lambo appeared and told Tsuna about the Parallel Worlds. Adult Lambo had no memories of the Ring Battles telling Tsuna that he could have been from a world where there wasn't a battle. He also asked Tsuna to make sure that his past self not use the ten-year bazooka because 15-year-old Lambo didn't want to fight yet. The next night the battle started. During his battle with Leviathan, he is shown to be able to use the Ten-Year Bazooka twice in a row, switching with his 25-year-old self. The 25-year-old self claimed that it have been a long time since he saw Tsuna and the gang as the 25-year-old self is living in a world where Vongola and his gang had been destroyed.
He was unaffected by Leviathan's most powerful attack and gains the upper hand in the battle. However, he ends up losing the fight due to the short time-limit of the Bazooka's effects. Just as he was about to be finished off, Tsuna saved him but ended up losing his ring along with Lambo's as a result. Lambo remains in critical condition afterward, but is forcibly made to participate in the Sky Ring Battle in which Leviathan tried to finish him off before being stopped by Gokudera.
Along with the other Guardians, Lambo was brought into the Future in the place of his Future self. Kusakabe later brought Lambo, along with I-Pin and Chrome, to the Melone Base. He later received a Vongola Box along with the other Guardians.
During the Arcobaleno Trials Lambo is unimportant for the beginning, However, when you complete a trial the Vongola rings glow. When Lambo saw this he asked Gokudera who informed him all about the trials. Since then Lambo was intent on finishing a trial. He then joined Tsuna during Fon's trial. At first they couldn't catch him but when they used a plan, I-pin sent Lambo flying into Fon who landed in Tsuna's lap ending the trial, which was to catch Fon.
Again in Verde's trial Lambo was angry when Verde Popped his ball and asked him to pay for it. He then went running after Verde. On the beach, where Verde was, Lambo was sent flying and landed on Verde's ship. after most of the trial Verde used an attack which paralyzed everyone, However Lambo gets up and starts throwing grenades. Lal questions how Lambo is able to move and Reborn states that he is the lightning guardian who is impervious to electric shocks. Lambo then throws a grenade at Verde stopping his attack. Collonello flies over and picks up Lambo. Tsuna then finishes Verde off with an X-Burner.
Gokudera was supposed to teach Lambo how to use his Weapon, but during training, Lambo, in a fit of rage, opened his Vongola Box Weapon by himself. The consequences of this weren't quite safe for Ryohei, who Gokudera was also supposed to train, and Gokudera himself.
After returning to the past for the Inheritance Succession, Verde was supposed to be Lambo's tutor. However Verde was curious about Lambo's power and analysed him during his trial which took place at an amusement park. Lambo's objective was to reach Lampo (the first generation Lightning Guardian), who was hiding in the castle, and give him a paper stamped with three rides he had been on. Verde sent robots after Lambo in order to capture him. However, Lambo's extreme release of energy destroyed the machines. Despite not completing his original task Lampo noted that Lambo had fulfilled his role as the Lightning Guardian and gave him his inheritance.
Lambo later joined the others in order to save the girls from Demon Spade and was separated from the others along with Ryohei. Lambo was then defeated by a doppelganger of himself but was saved by Hibari's rampage.
After the Choice battle, Lambo was tied up so that Torikabuto could impersonate him and get closer to Yuni. Later the group split up and Lambo along with Ryohei, Basil, Tazaru and Nosaru encounter Kikyo. Ryohei then used the memory of Tsuna's mother to get Lambo to release his Lightning Vongola Box. After destroying Velociraptor di Nuvola, he falls asleep due to loss of strength. After Tsuna defeats Byakuran and everyone returns to the past, Future Lambo is shown along with the other Future Guardians waiting for Future Tsuna.
Before the Inheritance ceromony Lambo became good friends with Shimon Family member Rauji Ooyama. However after they betrayed the Vongola he joined the others in invading the Shimon's Holy Land. While the others were asleep, Lambo was lured down a hole by a rabbit, where he finds Rauji waiting. Lambo then tries to get Rauji to play with him, but Rauji claims that he is Lambo's "slave" no longer. Rauji then says that once he has beaten Lambo he will kill the others. Lambo then declares that he will be the one to kill Reborn. Lambo then lights his Flame and upgrades his Vongola Gear Stone which Reborn says is because Lambo will do whatever it takes to make Rauji play with him.
The stone then becomes the "Lightning Helm Version X." Rauji then says the rules of their fight will be dump-style, with the first one to leave the ring the loser. As they start, Lambo complains that the Helm is too tight on him, which Gokudera says is because his hair is full of "useless crap." Lambo then takes the helm off as Rauji strikes him, and he is seemingly killed. As Rauji begins to gloat and lament that if Lambo were not Vongola and a few years older they could have been good friends, the dust begins to settle as 15-year-old Lambo appears and claims that from now on they are the same age. When Tsuna ask Lambo if he remembers the fight with Rauji, 15-year-old Lambo appears he says that he banged his head on the edge of the platform and that it knocked all of his memories of the past. After Rauji declares himself as the Mountain Guardian, Gokudera says to Lambo that he must put the helmet on and Lambo agrees. When Lambo put his helmet, he summons a new Gyuudon. Gokudera orders Lambo to goes into Cambio Forma, but Lambo doesn't not understand that. But Lambo goes into Cambio Forma and then Lampo's Shield appears in a new form. With this, the round 2 between Lambo and Rauji begins.

Gyuudon
Elettrico Cuoio: Due to being struck many times by lightning, electricity passes right through Lambo with little effect.
Thunder Set: Adult Lambo summons lightning and stores them into his horns to use the collected volts to attack.
Elettrico Cornata: After using Thunder Set, adult Lambo can then charge his opponent in an attack called Elettrico Cornata. It's weakness is it's short range but 25 year old Lambo can project the electricity much further.
Elettrico Reverse: A technique used by 25 year old Lambo where he releases stored electricity into the ground.
Corna Fulmine (Lightning Horns): The shield unleashes powerful Lightning Flames to defeat the enemies around the user. The flames released are so solid and thin that they are able to pierce through an enemy like shrapnel.
Horns: These horns can store and release electricity, acquired from lightning.
Ten-Year Bazooka: This switches the target with their own self from ten years later for five minutes. Every time Lambo loses his cool, he uses it on himself, switching with his 15-year-old self.
Cambio Forma: Lampo's Shield(Lampo is Italian for Flash): Gyuudon takes the form of armor and a Shield that covers Lambo's body. It also forms a helmet on Lambo with the Lightning Crest in the middle.
Thunder Helm Version X: Upgraded version of the Vongola Lightning Ring combined with Gyuudon's Box Ring.
Wide Horn: While in Cambio Form, Lambo can make his horns larger than usual.
Trivia
His Boss felt honored and cried tears of joy when Lambo was invited to join the Vongola Family.
In the Reborn! Fandom, he can be referred to as either L or Lam.
He is called "stupid cow" (ahoushi) by Gokudera and Reborn.
His catchphrase is "ga ma n" ("gotta stay calm", "endurance", "hold it in", or "tolerate", etc), which he says before he cries.
Lambo can only light his Flame when he is angry, sad, or homesick.

15-year-old Lambo resembles Bianchi's ex-boyfriend, Romeo; Bianchi mixes the two up and often attacks 15-year-old Lambo.
Lambo can withstand enough electricity to power an entire town, while a normal person would already be burnt to a crisp.
Adult Lambo is usually seen with one eye shut for reasons unknown.
