As Rauji begins to gloat and lament that if Lambo were not Vongola and a few years older they could have been good friends. When Tsuna ask Lambo if he remembers the fight with Rauji, 15-year-old Lambo appears he says that he banged his head on the edge of the platform and that it knocked all of his memories of the past. After Rauji declares himself as the Mountain Guardian, Gokudera says to Lambo that he must put the helmet on and Lambo agrees. When Lambo put his helmet, he summons a new Gyuudon. Gokudera orders Lambo to go into Cambio Forma. Lambo doesn't understand that at first, but eventually goes into Cambio Forma and then Lampo's Shield appears in a new form, as a full suit of armor. |

Lambo is a 5-year-old hitman and member of the Bovino Famiglia mafioso who originally came to Japan with the goal of killing Reborn. A character in the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! series, Lambo instead comes to live under Tsunayoshi Sawada's household. Lambo is a spoiled and demanding child who takes candy from everyone. His high jinks are displayed across the manga as well as the anime adaption. Lambo is additionally in the series' video games, drama CDs among other media.
Thinking of himself as a good hitman, Lambo refers to himself in third person as "Lambo-san." Fond of grenades, Lambo is more than occasionally struck by his own rebounding weapons he wantonly deploys. Looked after by Tsuna's mom, Nana Sawada, each Famiglia member takes turns caring for him, with the exceptions of Hayato Gokudera and Reborn who consider him to be overly annoying and stupid. Accordingly he is referred to as stupid cow. While treated well by those such as Takeshi Yamamoto, he is still his rambunctious self around others. In particular Lambo amuses himself with another baby-like assassin, I-Pin.
Using his Ten Year Bazooka can bring forth his adult self to find himself in whatever unexpected occurrence is taking place at the time. Joining the Vongola Famiglia as the 10th generation Lightning Vongola Guardian, Lambo is the youngest member for the ring-bearing team which includes Ryohei Sasagawa, along with Kyoya Hibari, and Chrome Dokuro. As ever, Lambo is a presence among the wider group involving Haru Miura as well as Kyoko Sasagawa. Living under the same household as Bianchi and Futa, he is involved with many for better or worse for them.
Appearance[]
Even amongst other idiosyncratic beings in his world, Lambo has a unique appearance to say the least. At the age of five, he appears a similar baby in form to the one-year old Reborn. Lambo has a disproportionately large head for his body, which is smaller than what even a baby's should be in that he can be held in two hands. Lambo has exceptionally large white eyes with also large green pupils. Having a pink button note, Lambo additionally has distinctive hashtag (#) signs on his cheeks.
Rather than being a part of his costume, what is Lambo's hair is even more notable where it is styled into a massive afro. This contributes to almost a third of his collective height. Just as uniquely is Lambo wearing his detachable horns on both sides of his head. The bison-like horns are curved in the middle and yellow in coloration, with two parallel orange bands near to where they attach to his hair.
It is not his body, rather Lambo wears a onesie like outfit which covers most of his being aside from his face. This onesie consists of a black and white dairy cow pattern. It is mostly white with individual black blobs placed across it. Naturally, Lambo has a cow tail as part of the costume, which is entirely white in color. Lambo's range of clothing is solely this type of onesie, in three different forms no less. The minimal difference between three versions is in the hands. One design leaves his small fingered hands visible, of which like his face shows Lambo's light skin complexion.
At fifteen, Lambo's hair becomes much more contained where it is not as buoyant. His right eye usually remains closed in line with the expressions he is showing. Adult Lambo's attire is in keeping with what other humans wear in public, including shirt, jacket, and trouser options. One garb consists of a black jacket with a cowhide pattern collar, which is somewhat opened and leaves the upper half of his chest displayed. Additionally, Lambo wears a necklace with a bull pendant, beige pants, and sandals. He now only has one hashtag sign above his left cheek underneath his eye.
A twenty five-year-old version of Lambo briefly appears during the Varia Arc. His hair was somewhat longer and had many braids added. At that moment Lambo wore a brown cow hide-like coat with a beige fur design on the shoulder sections. This coat was worn open over a white shirt, where Lambo also had a black necklace that resembles a shark tooth. Black fingerless gloves were also worn, and Lambo's brown belt had a gray buckle in a horn shape with two other belts around this. His pants were black and he wore brown shoes. While the same shape, Lambo sported a different colored pair of horns indicating that he may possess sets of them.

5-Year-Old-Lambo[]
Lambo's dream for the future is world domination. It appears nothing out the ordinary for Lambo to take a plane to a foreign country then travel to a stranger's house for the purpose of delightfully attacking them with a multitude of weapons. Upon falling from a tree he had climbed, Lambo decided that ringing the doorbell and announcing that he had gained entry was the best means of infiltration. Loudly proclaiming his intent is also part of the plan.
While perhaps not the most elegant, or working, of methods, Lambo could not be faulted for his dedication. So devoted was Lambo to defeating Reborn that he paid no mind to others such as Nana and Tsuna. It is a similar disregard for others when Lambo is committed to running about wildly. When others require information from him, Lambo has blasé responses and is generally indifferent to what does not interest him.
Ever eager to play, Lambo often targets anyone within view to partake. At being regarded as a broccoli monster by I-Pin, he was willing to go along with it as he played into the perceived monstrosities of the perception. Exuberant more often than not, Lambo is happy to showcase his distinct irrepressible laugh. His exultation is often the first indication that Lambo is approaching, where he is heard first before being seen.
When things do not go well for Lambo, often when he is affected by what he himself has instigated, it appears a coping method of sorts to will himself to keep it in. Holding back tears and speaking to remind himself of how to handle it, this is often followed by Lambo using his ten-year bazooka to disappear from dealing with his grievances. On other occasions though, Lambo will endure what leaves him uncomfortable, such as when he informed Tsuna who was in his class that he needed to use the toilet, before relieving himself promptly anyway. He often ends up blubbering over small things.
Lambo's obstreperous behaviour is considered annoying by most of the people he meets, not that he cares. According to Futa's rankings, Lambo is placed first as the world's most annoying Mafia member. Additionally, the top spot is all his when it comes to people wanting to use him as a seat cushion. By his fellow Guardians however, Lambo is also considered as someone dear to them. Shown to be very self-confident overall, Lambo views himself with high regard. He is forthright in picking his nose, and not shy in wiping it on others. In getting into trouble, it is what factors into Lambo being a highly inept assassin. He makes silly mistakes to the point of being either pitiful or just looked down upon.
Able to display some sensibility, in perhaps an indication of how Lambo has been positively influenced, he remembers to note the relation between the pin of his grenade when one falls near him. It is a rare case of Lambo taking into account the weaponry he uses given his habit of randomly pulling grenades out his hair for use. He was also against Tsuna using his ten-year bazooka having been informed it was not to be used, never mind the number of times he had activated it himself. For a case of when his uproarious behaviour is challenged by those he evidently likes, Lambo becomes upset yet responds well to candy and being consoled.
Having arguably the greatest appetite out of anyone observed, Lambo is pleased to consume far more food than what his body should biologically be able to contain. Far from having any qualms about it, Lambo is quick to eat dinner that is for others. An extendable lizard like tongue was helpful on one occasion for acquiring food that took Lambo's fancy. Swallowing omelettes whole is something Lambo appears to thoroughly enjoy. Not just accepting candy from strangers, Lambo also tasks them with seeking it out for him before he can reveal sensitive information. The madness is exacerbated when Lambo is ready and waiting to consume food from those outright hostile to him. Upon spotting that Reborn had produced a slice of cake, Lambo was grinning wildly as it was hurled into the air for him to devour, never mind the very plausible, and real reality that it had a grenade within.
In requesting what he likes, Lambo shows a fondness for sugary products such as drinks and particularly candy. Specifically, it is grape-flavored candy that Lambo likes. Lambo's favorite foods are grapes, takoyaki (octopus balls) and gumdrops. Also doing whatever seems to come to mind, Lambo takes to napping in a box meant for pets to be bought. Having located a bra, Lambo elects to wear it over his eyes before alerting Tsuna to what he has found. Having been bathing with the girls, Lambo is sure to loudly share with everyone the body parts he has seen.
When Lambo is surprised, he normally expresses his shock by exclaiming, "Gyupaa!" He has a habit of saying "e gamo ne," "monya m," and "damo ne" at the end of his sentences. Like Haru Miura, he likes to speak in third-person.
15-Year-Old-Lambo[]
15-Year-Old Lambo
15-year-old Lambo (also known as "Adult Lambo") is shown to be much more mature than his former self. Calm and collected, Lambo makes rationale comments on scenarios he finds himself in. Physically, adult Lambo bears a striking resemblance to Bianchi's ex-boyfriend Romeo and so when he is abruptly attacked by her it does nothing to help his puzzlement at suddenly finding himself in a new environment.
For all his seeming increase in maturity, adult Lambo is still ready to resume being the crybaby he was when younger. Despite that, he can become determined to face his fears for his friends and loved ones, similar to how 5 years old Lambo had recently been shown capable of doing, though only for the sake of being with Tsuna's mother, Nana Sawada.

A rather insightful view to share
Adult Lambo has proven to be a ladies man, his looks leading Hana, Kyoko's best friend to have an ironic infatuation with him, unaware that he is, in fact, Lambo. Adult Lambo always gets chocolates from ladies, and ends up getting a nosebleed from eating too much.
It is revealed that Future Lambo's pride is that he never refuses a single invitation to come out and party. While still not as much a battler, adult Lambo is depended on in some situations. When Haru was under attack, Lambo took to guiding her to safety. Future Lambo revealed that when he was 5 years old, all he wanted was to be like Tsuna and the rest of the Guardians where he wanted to do everything they did, because he felt lonely.
Both 5-year-old and 15-year-old Lambo have been shown to resemble the first Lightning Guardian, Lampow, in terms of personality. Faced with one another, two show little respect for each other.

In his brief appearance, 25-year-old Lambo is shown to be more serious. He was unwilling to cry upon seeing the faces he had not seen in a long time. Ready and able to battle, 25-Year-Old-Lambo delivered a surging attack on the foe he had before him.
Weapons and Abilities[]
While an assassin with a background in the mafia, as well as owning weapons and having the intent and capability to use them, Lambo is one of, or even the weakest among all the Guardians of the 10th generation of Vongola. This may in part be due to his young age, as he is only 5 years old, where overall he has very little experience and skills in real combat (at least in his 5-year-old form, since at 15, he proves to be more experienced and useful in battle). Having said that, Lambo's incompetence appears the largest reason that he is unable to become more capable, combined with him having no interest in training, then that he enjoys eating and playing far more out of anything.
While young, Lambo has already displayed aptitude and potential to become a Guardian. This is not just in what he is prepared to do, but in possessing innate traits such as the strong tolerance against other Lightning Flames or other electricity like Verde's. Lambo can withstand enough electricity to power an entire town, while a normal person would already be burnt to a crisp. Additionally, Lambo has really high "mafia hide-and-seek" ranking. For his perceived weaknesses, Lambo is the first to open his Vongola Box successfully.
Specific circumstances weigh heavily in the amount of power that Lambo is able to unleash, namely it depends on his mood swings. A situational condition is also an element in the amount of power he can display as 5-year-old Lambo can only ignite his Flames when he is angry, sad, or homesick. The power of Lambo's ring can be unleashed when he is upset at not being around Nana anymore, yet even then, the electricity he discharged is hardly controllable since Lambo couldn't keep his emotion in check. Accordingly, and similar to his grenade use, Lambo's battling style can be to blindly wreck havoc that harms both enemies and friends.
His 15-years-old self has more control of his power but, similar to his child self, can only unleash his full power if he is in the mood to be serious. 25-year-old Lambo on the other hand, having fully matured, has reached his full potential and become strong enough to overpower Levi A Than and would have won if it weren't for the 10-Year-Bazooka's time limit. Maturity, how he can be made to feel, and time limits are matters to take into account for the stronger powers that Lambo is able to resort to.
Techniques[]
His generated box weapon, an armored bull Gyudon
- Elettrico Cuoio: As a result of being struck by lightning several times as a child, Lambo's physiology has changed; any kind of electricity that passes through his skin heads down to the ground. This results in little or no damage to his body or brain. Reborn stated that this ability makes Lambo the most perfect candidate possible for the rank of Guardian of Lightning, for that Guardian has a duty to become a lightning rod that accepts all the family's damages to himself and destroy them. This skill is said to be the perfect representation of the Lightning Guardian's responsibilities.
- Thunder Set: Adult Lambo summons lightning and stores them into his horns. The collected volts are then used to attack.
- Elettrico Cornata: After using Thunder Set, Adult Lambo advances towards the enemy in a frontal attack. The drawbacks are that this technique rarely works as its range is short and the direct attack leaves it open to a counterattack. However, the 25-year-old Lambo overcame this weakness by being able to increase the physical range of the horns.
- Elettrico Reverse: A technique used by 25-year-old Lambo where he releases stored electricity into the ground.
- Corna Fulmine: Only with Lampow's Shield, the shield unleashes powerful Lightning Flames to defeat the enemies around the user. The flames released are so solid and thin that they are able to pierce through an enemy like shrapnel. This powerful technique was so effective that it allowed Lambo to defeat the Nuvola Velociraptor that Ryohei, Basil, Tazaru and Nozaru were struggling with.
- Wide Horn: While in Cambio Form (Vongola Gear Version), Lambo can make his horns larger than usual.
- Corna Molla Elettro Shock: From the curled horns of the new Cambio Forma, extremely fierce electricity is generated which in turn becomes an electromagnet.
- Elettrico Ironhorn: 15 year old Lambo melts and solidifies the iron sand, creating powerful objects which he uses as projectiles.
- Ferro Corna Elettro Shock: Lambo creates two massive objects by using the Iron Sand, and then coats it with the Lightning Flame.

- Hand Grenades: Lambo stores hand grenades in his afro, which are very handy large area attacks and effective at destroying machinery.
- Horns: These detachable horns can store and release electricity, acquired from lightning.
- Ten-Year Bazooka: This switches the target with their own self from ten years later for five minutes. Every time Lambo loses his cool, he uses it on himself, switching with his 15-year-old self.
- Bufalo Fulmine ver. Vongola: A box weapon in the form of a large Lightning Bull named Gyudon, that Lambo can ride.
- Cambio Forma: Lampow's Shield: Gyudon takes the form of armor and a Shield that covers Lambo's body. It also forms a helmet on Lambo with the Lightning Crest in the middle.
- Thunder Helm Version X: Upgraded version of the Vongola Lightning Ring combined with Gyudon's Box Ring.
- Bufalo Fulmine ver. X: The Vongola Gear enhanced Gyudon and is capable of merging directly with Lambo for his Cambio Forma.
