Lambo is a 5-year-old hitman who originally came to Japan with the intent of killing Reborn. He is a spoiled and cowardly child who takes candy from everyone; it has been said that he never brushes his teeth. Lambo is the youngest guardian and each Famiglia member takes turns caring for him, with the exceptions of Hayato Gokudera and Reborn who consider him to be overly annoying and stupid, referring to him as stupid cow. He was previously a Bovino Famiglia mafioso and is currently the 10th generation Lightning Vongola Guardian. He thinks of himself as a good hitman and refers to himself in third person as "Lambo-san."

Appearance

At the age of five, Lambo's hair was styled into a massive afro, wearing his horns on both sides of his head, his outfit covers most of his body, consisting of a cowhide pattern and tail.

At the age of fifteen, Lambo's hair becomes much more contained, his right eye usually remains closed now that he's older, his outfit consists of a black jacket with a cowhide pattern collar, which is somewhat opened and leaves the upper half of his chest out, he wears a necklace with a bull pendant, beige pants, and sandals.

A 25-year-old version of Lambo briefly appears during the Varia Arc. His hair was somewhat longer and had many braids in his hair, he wears a brown coat with beige fur, a white shirt, a black necklace that resembles a shark tooth, black fingerless gloves, his brown belt had a gray buckle in a horn shape with two other belts around his belt, his pants were black and he wore brown shoes.

Personality

5-Year-Old-Lambo

Lambo is considered annoying by most of the people he meets, but by his fellow Guardians, he is also considered as someone dear to them. He is shown to be very self-confident and views himself with high regard, but he often ends up crying over small things. He is constantly shown picking his nose and getting into trouble. He is highly incompetent in assassination, and makes silly mistakes to the point of being either pitiful or just looked down upon. When Lambo is surprised, he normally expresses his shock by shouting, "Gyupaa!"

15-year-old Lambo is shown to be much more mature than his former self. He has a striking resemblance to Bianchi's ex-boyfriend Romeo and as such, upon seeing 15-Year-Old Lambo, Bianchi instantly goes into a rampage wanting to kill him. Despite his seeming increase in maturity, he is still the crybaby he was when he was younger but can become determined to face his fears for his friends and loved ones, similar to how 5 years old Lambo had recently been shown capable of doing, though only for the sake of being with Tsuna's mother, Nana Sawada.

Lambo's 15-Year-Old self has proven to be a ladies man, his looks leading Hana, Kyoko's best friend to have an ironic infatuation with him, unaware that he is, in fact, Lambo.

In his brief appearance, 25-year-old Lambo is shown to be more serious, unwilling to cry upon seeing the faces he had not seen in a long time.

Both 5-year-old and 15-year-old Lambo have been shown to resemble the first Lightning Guardian, Lampow, in terms of personality, but the two show little respect for each other.

Techniques

Gyuudon

• Elettrico Cuoio: Due to being struck many times by lightning, electricity passes right through Lambo with little effect.
• Thunder Set: Adult Lambo summons lightning and stores them into his horns to use the collected volts to attack.
• Elettrico Cornata: After using Thunder Set, adult Lambo can then charge his opponent in an attack called Elettrico Cornata. Its weakness is its short range but 25 year old Lambo can project the electricity much further.
• Elettrico Reverse: A technique used by 25 year old Lambo where he releases stored electricity into the ground.
• Corna Fulmine: Only with Lampow's Shield, the shield unleashes powerful Lightning Flames to defeat the enemies around the user. The flames released are so solid and thin that they are able to pierce through an enemy like shrapnel.
• Wide Horn: While in Cambio Form (Vongola Gear Version), Lambo can make his horns larger than usual.
• Corna Molla Elettro Shock: From the curled horns of the new Cambio Forma, extremely fierce electricity is generated which in turn becomes an electromagnet.
• Elettrico Ironhorn: 15 year old Lambo melts and solidifies the iron sand, creating powerful objects which he uses as projectiles.
• Ferro Corna Elettro Shock: Lambo creates two massive objects by using the Iron Sand, and then coats it with the Lightning Flame.

Lampow's Shield

• Hand Grenades: Lambo keeps hand Grenades in his afro.
• Horns: These horns can store and release electricity, acquired from lightning.
• Ten-Year Bazooka: This switches the target with their own self from ten years later for five minutes. Every time Lambo loses his cool, he uses it on himself, switching with his 15-year-old self.
• Bufalo Fulmine ver. Vongola: A large Lightning Bull named Gyuudon, that Lambo can ride.
• Cambio Forma: Lampow's Shield: Gyuudon takes the form of armor and a Shield that covers Lambo's body. It also forms a helmet on Lambo with the Lightning Crest in the middle.
• Thunder Helm Version X: Upgraded version of the Vongola Lightning Ring combined with Gyuudon's Box Ring.
• Bufalo Fulmine ver. X: The Vongola Gear enhanced Gyuudon and is capable of merging directly with Lambo for his Cambio Forma.

Trivia

• His catchphrase is "ga...ma...n" ("gotta stay calm," "endurance," "hold it in," or "tolerate," etc.), which he says before he cries.
• Adult Lambo's catchphrase is "Yare yare" ("My oh my"), which he says before he acts.
• He has a habit of saying "e gamo ne," "monya m," and "damone" at the end of his sentences.
• He likes to speak in third-person, just like Haru.
• He is nicknamed "Aho-ushi" ("Stupid cow"), by Gokudera.
• Lambo has a deep connection with Tsuna's mother. Shown in the Future Arc where Reborn tells Ryohei how to make him use his cambio forma by asking Lambo if he wants to see Tsuna's mother again which makes him start to cry and activates his Lightning Ring.
• In the Filipino dubbed version of Reborn!, his name is changed from Lambo to Rambo.
