LMC Maya and Aiji

The LM.C duo

LM.C, short for Lovely-Mocochang.Com, is a Japanese visual kei rock duo labelled under Pony Canyon. Maya, the lead vocalist, and Aiji, the lead guitarist, have released songs for the anime and game adaptations of the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! series.

Profile Edit

LM.C was founded by Masahito Yamazaki, or Maya, a support guitarist for musician Miyavi. Later on, Aiji of Pierrot joined the group. Maya focused on singing after he quit Miyavi's band and Aiji filled the guitarist position after Pierrot disbanded. The band was signed by Pony Canyon in 2006, and released their debut pair of singles, Trailers (Gold) and Trailers (Silver) on the same year.

LM.C released their fourth single, BOYS & GIRLS in June 2007, featured as the first opening theme for the Varia Arc. 88 was released in winter 2008 as the fourth opening theme of the series. Both songs were featured in the re-release of their EP as the full-length album "Super Glitter Loud Box" in 2008. They also launched their first world tour and debut in the U.S. at the Anime Expo in Los Angeles in July 2008.

In 2009, they sung DAYS, the opening theme of the Nintendo DS game adaptation Katekyō Hitman Reborn! Fate of Heat II - Unmei no Futari. It was released on the album "PUNKY HEART".

They have also performed the opening themes for the second season of Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan. Hoshi no Arika was released on July 2011, followed by THE LOVE SONG on October.
