Adelheid fights Hibari

The Inheritance Ceremony Arc begins immediately after the end of the Future Final Battle Arc. Reborn received a message from the Ninth and informed Tsuna that in a week the Inheritence Ceremony would take place that would establish Tsuna as the tenth Vongola boss. At the same time seven new transfer students from Simon Middle School arrived due to earthquake warnings in their area. In no time Adelheid Suzuki was attempting to take over Hibari's Discplinary committee and Gokudera began stalking P. Shitt (who he believed was a U.M.A). On his way back from school Tsuna and one of the transfer students Enma Kozato were beaten up by bullies. At this time Tsuma felt his Vongol Ring resonate with something prompting Reborn to investigate the Simon. Meanwhile Ryohei got into a fight with Koyo Aoba during detention, Yamamoto became friendly Kaoru Mizuno during baseball practice, and Juile Katou began stalking Chrome. Finding Enma, on the way home Tsuna noticed how similar he was to old self before he met Reborn. The next day at school, Adelheid and Hibari fought on the roof so Tsuna, along with his guardians and the other Simon students gathered to stop the fight. Reborn then revealed that the Simon were in fact another mafia family, known as friends of Vongola Primo and been invited as guests to Tsuna's Inheritance Ceremony.

Enma waits, alone

After school Tsuna discussed his misgivings over becoming the Vongola Boss with Enma who recommended he run away. At this point however a hitman from the Pesca Family arrived in an attempt to kill Tsuna and to interfere with the upcoming Inheritance Ceremony but Tsuna defeated him easily. After finding this out Gokudera called for a gathering between the Shimon Family and the Vongola Family and split everyone into groups to protect Tsuna. During the next few days Reborn observed the Simon family noting Koyo and Ryohei finally working together, Karou regaining his confidence thanks to Yamamoto and P. Shitt communicating with Gokudera. Julie also asked Chrome on a date but was rejected.

At around the same time the Giegue Famiglia had found the location of the group that was trying to interfere with the Inheritance Ceremony at an abandoned factory. Although they tried to take them out for the Vongola, they were killed by a mysterious female fighter who possessed a new flame type. Meanwhile unsure of Tsuna's true motives Enma decided to test him, writing a note for Tsuna asking for his help, but unfortunately it was blown into the bin by accident and Enma was left waiting alone.

Tsuna went for a meeting with the Ninth (who had arrived in Japan with his Guardian's) who told him that Tsuna had the potential to destroy the corruption of the Vongola and return it to the ways of the first family. Despite this Tsuna refused to become the new boss as he didn't want to involve his friends. Later, Yamamoto was brutally attacked by Kaoru, after seeing a slip of paper with the Vongola crest crossed out. He was found by Ryohei and taken to the hospital but was left in a coma. The only clue was the word Sin which Yamamoto wrote in blood which Reborn stated would be given to Tsuna during the Ceremony suggesting the assailant would attack then. Filled with anger Tsuna decided to go ahead with the ceremony in order to lure them out.

Inheritance Ceremony

Inheritance Ceremony begins

The Tenth's Family arrives at the ceremony and reunites with Naito Longchamp, Dino, and the Varia – except for Xanxus. The Shimon Famiglia is also present, and they are surprised at seeing Yamamoto there and well.

During the passing of the Vongola Sin, the Shimon intervene and cause the Ninth to drop the Sin. He reassures Tsuna that it was merely a fake, and that the real Sin was inside a foolproof safe in another room. Just then, Enma reveals that he has broken into the safe and taken the Sin. He drips it onto his hand, which then transforms into a gauntlet. He reveals the story between Giotto and Cozart Shimon, and declares that he will bring the Shimon Famiglia back to its former glory for that. The other six members then get the Sin onto their hands, and reveal their hidden power, said to rival the Vongola's Seven Sky Flames – the Seven Earth Flames.

The Seven Flames of The Earth

Afterwards, Tsuna enters Hyper Dying Will Mode, but before he gets a chance to do anything, Enma uses his powers to crush Hibari, Gokudera, Chrome and Ryohei with ease, also revealing Yamamoto to be an illusion. Enma then proceeds to announce he only hasn't attacked Tsuna to make him experience the pain of Shimon, and breaks the Vongola Rings of Sun, Cloud, Mist and Storm. Tsuna then attacks Enma, causing a reaction on their respective Rings, but he is overpowered. Adelheid then announces that Enma's powers will take seven days to reach full power, and thus Enma is only using a seventh of it, to the shock of both Reborn and Tsuna. After overwhelming Dino and the Varia, and finally breaking the Vongola Ring of Sky, the Shimon take their leave with Julie taking Chrome saying they have date plans.

Talbot arrives

When Tsuna and his family feel helpless, a mysterious old man who seemed to be an acquaintance of the Ninth arrives. He also seems to have known Primo. His name is revealed to be Talbot. Talbot asks Tsuna if he is ready to bring the rings back, even with the risk of destroying the rings. Tsuna agrees to this, and Talbot talks to Ninth, requesting a room to himself. He upgrades the broken rings with the box weapons and Vongola Primo's blood, Penalty. Upon upgrading the Vongola rings, they looked nothing more than rocks. Talbot then says that the rocks have to be injected with an extreme amount of Dying Will. Tsuna, Gokudera, Ryohei and Hibari successfully unlock the powers of their respective rings, bringing forth the Sky Ring, the Storm Buckle, the Sun Bangle and the Cloud Bracelet.

Following this, Tsuna and his Family—minus Yamamoto and Chrome—along with the Ninth and his Family and Varia, discuss the whereabouts of the Shimon Famiglia's hideout. One of the Ninth's guardians discovers the location of the Shimon base, via the private letter that Cozart Shimon sent to the Vongola Primo, Giotto. Tsuna requests from the Ninth permission to allow him and his Family to invade the Shimon hideout alone. Squalo protests, saying that the current situation is a mafia war – to which Tsuna replies that it is a fight for his friends. Timoteo agrees to let Tsuna and his Family to invade the Shimon hideout, preparing three ships for them.

Tsuna and his Family return to the Sawada household to prepare for the assault. Upon arriving, Tsuna discovers that he received a letter and package from the present Irie, who received memories of the future battles from Uni. The package contained the new headphones created by the present Spanner, who also received memories from Uni.

The battle begins!

Arrival at Simon Famiglia Island

Tsuna and the others arrive at the Simon Famiglia's Island.

Vendice appears

They are immediately greeted by the Simon Family. Enma comments that Tsuna's family arrived faster than expected, and that they made the right choice to come alone, saying the island cannot contain mountains of corpses. The two Families were interrupted by the Vendice, who claim to have come to fulfill the promise between Vongola Primo, Giotto and Shimon Primo, Cozart. Because of Giotto and Cozart's steadfast friendship, the Families are forbidden to fight each other. According to the Vendice, this is the second time this law has been breached, and thusly, the Guardians must battle each other, with the loser imprisoned in Vendice prison forever.

Following this warning, the Vendicare disappear. Without much of a choice, both Families agree to fight. Adelheid explains that they seek only one goal, and Enma explains that the Shimon Family's history is engraved in the island. One by one, the Vongola Guardians must head for the goal, where Enma will be waiting. As Enma and his Guardians prepare to leave, Tsuna unleashes his Vongola Gear, challenging Enma on the spot. Enma smiles, commenting that Tsuna has grown more capable, and that he will await him with bated breath.

Koyo's Forest Flame

As Reborn, Tsuna and the remaining Guardians traveled to the "goal" they arrived at a huge forest. They eventually encountered Koyo Aoba who attacked with a intimidating wave of flame but left the group unscathed. When questioned by Ryohei, Koyo admitted that his hate for the Vongola surpassed his love of boxing but that he would use it to defeat them. Ryohei however demanded a one on one boxing match, stating this was his pride. Koyo agreed, unleashing a barbed Forest Flame around them to act as the ring. Koyo announces that whoever is forced to his knees first loses but that Flames and foul play were also allowed. Koyo then released an overpowering Flame.

Vongola Gear of Sun

Unfazed Ryohei then activated his Vongola Gear and went into Cambio Forma. Surprisingly Koyo claimed to already know of Ryohei's abilities and the three minute time limit. He went on to reveal that the Vongola had a spy, someone who was greatly disappointed in the family. Remaining composed Ryohei stated that as well as having a new indefinite time limit, his Vongola Gear had other new features. The two then squared off.

Early on in the fight, Koyo seemed to have the upper hand, using his flame to surround Ryohei both restraining and blinding him allowing Koyo to beat him senseless from all angles. As Koyo prepares to deliver another fist, Ryohei unleashes a devastating attack out of

nowhere causing a huge explosion that Koyo narrowly avoided. Koyo, seemingly surprised that he still had such strength in him deduced that this was the Vongola Gears new feature. Ryohei then revealed that his new power was to convert the damage to his body into new attacks and that that attack was only at a third of the bangles capacity. Koyo laughed at this pointing out the damage he had already taken. However Ryohei responded by claiming that as he had revealed his

power he could fight at full strength. Ryohei then charged at Koyo, avoiding his flame attacks and closing the distance. Koyo responded by unleashing a barrage of punches that Ryohei was only just capable of avoiding. However Reborn pointed out that he was charging his flames by purposefully letting Koyo's attacks graze him. Ryohei then unleashed another blow that sent Koyo flying and knocking off his glasses. However, Koyo revealed that he could now fight at his true strength. Finding his glasses Lambo expressed surprise that he couldn't see through them.

A decisive blow?

Koyo then extinguished his flame calming he wouldn't need it. Ryohei once again tried to graze the attacks; however a single attack caused him great pain. Koyo then explained that his glasses were designed to limit his incredibly powerful eyesight – and without them he could pinpoint Ryohei's Killer Points – points in the body that change constantly, but are deadly to the person if struck there even with light attacks. Koyo then attacked again causing Ryohei's Bangle to reach sixty percent. However Ryohei noticed Koyo's rushed behavior and jeered at him. This sent Koyo over the edge causing him to attack with flames as well, however, before he could do so, he momentarily lost his eyesight and giving Ryohei a chance to make a direct hit.

Ryohei's body riddled with Killer points

Reborn explained that the overuse of his eyes had caused them to overheat due to Koyo being unable to continuously process the massive amount of information. However despite suffering huge damage Koyo survived the attack and was still able to fight. Reborn pointed out the recklessness of his decision, proving Koyo's determination. Ryohei apologized to Koyo, stating that he must defeat him at full power. The battle then became a race with Koyo trying to take Ryohei down before his eyes gave out and Ryohei trying to stay conscious long enough to charge his flame. Koyo comes out with the upper hand, fatally striking all Ryohei's killer points.

The final clash

With several bones broken in Ryohei's body, Koyo strikes him in the face. However Ryohei used this opportunity to grab Koyo and with his flames at 100% he delivered a catastrophic attack that cleared the whole area of forest in the resulting explosion. As the smoke cleared away, it was revealed that not only Ryohei but also Koyo was still on his feet. Astounded Tsuna and Gokudera tried to comprehend what drove them, to which Reborn resopnded that their pride was beyond what he could have imagined. With both combatants unyielding and unrelenting, they charged at each other, crossing fists once more before succumbing to their injuries and collapsing.

The First Key (The Pouch)

The First key

After Ryohei and Koyo collapsed, Tsuna, Gokudera and Reborn rushed to their side to provide medical attention. However, the Vendice intervened, declaring that since both combatants lost, they were both to be imprisoned in Vendice. Before being taken away, Ryohei told Tsuna that he knew his pride was there and to find it.

After this, Vendicare gave them a small bag and told them it was the first key that was entrusted by Giotto and Cozart. Along with the bag, the Vendice show each of the members of the Shimon and Vongola Families the memories of Vongola Primo and Shimon Primo. Giotto was shown calling out to Cozart, saying that he dropped his wallet at Paolo's shed. Cozart replied that he intended to drop it because he could not stand to see Paolo and his families starve. Giotto revealed that he and G. also did the same thing, leaving food for Paolo. Giotto, Cozart and G. shared a hearty laugh, introducing themselves to each other and ending the memory.

Julie's silhouette

Somewhere inside a room, Chrome woke up after seeing Giotto and Cozart's memory. She saw a silhouette of a man resembling Mukuro standing by the terrace but it is revealed to be Katou Julie. Chrome asked Julie where she was to which Julie explained the situation. Chrome noticed her trident lying on top of a dresser, and reached out to grab it, is interrupted by Julie, who offers her a new change of clothing, and even offers to help her change. Chrome refused, but Julie was persistent. Adelheid then entered the room all of a sudden, informing Julie of a meeting with the other Shimon Guardians. On the way, Adelheid commented she will kill Chrome once she was of no longer use to them as a hostage. As Adelheid and Julie arrived at the meeting place, they discuss the battle between Koyo and Ryohei, and also the memory given by the Vendice. Julie makes clear that he is uninterested, so long as they win. Julie turns to leave, but is stopped by Adelheid, who told him that it is his responsibility to remain involved with the battle against Vongola. Julie, visibly annoyed, grabs Adelheid's jaw telling her to keep quiet. However, Julie changes his demeanor, cheerfully stating that there is nothing to worry about, as he will help if things go bad.

Lambo vs Rauji

Meanwhile, the Vendice told Tsuna and his Guardians that the seven keys were entrusted by Giotto and Cozart, and, along with another memory, will be awarded upon another loss. Tsuna realized that there will be a continuation of Giotto and Cozart's memories, and as such, decided to follow through with the battles. On the way, Reborn realized that Tsuna still thinking about Ryohei and told him if he gave up now, Ryohei's efforts would be wasted. Tsuna said that he didn’t even know his own pride but Reborn told him that he can figure it out later, for now concentrate only on winning to save Chrome and reveal the truth behind Giotto and Cozart. Noticing that it was almost dark, Tsuna and the others decided to camp. While they were asleep, Lambo was awakened by a rabbit in front of him and chased after it and falling into a pitfall. Tsuna and Gokudera also fell to the pitfall and found themselves in a cave surrounded by rocks. In the middle of the cave, Lambo encountered Rauji.

Sumo Match and the Second Key

Rauji claimed that the dome where Tsuna, Reborn, and Gokudera were trapped held the ceiling up. Lambo still oblivious to the Rauji's intentions tried to get him to play with him. However Rauji refused attacking Lambo in the process causing Lambo to cry and unleash his Dying Will Flames into his Vongola Gear Stone.

Raujis Mountain Flame

The stone transformed into Vongola Lightning Helmet Version X but Lambo quickly took it off because it was too tight for him. Rauji then suggests playing sumo wrestlers with only one rule, the person who fall from the platforms loses. Lambo accepted Rauji immediately pushed him of the ledge. Rauji said that if only they were on the same age and if Lambo is not from Vongola, they would've been good friends. However, once the smoke clears up, Adult Lambo is shown clinging to the ledge, saying that now they are about the same age, surprising Rauji.

Vongola Gear of Lightning

Tsuna and the others were relieved at this but Adult Lambo told them that because of the hit, he lost his part of his past memory. However, looking around the situation, Lambo realized that it's a one-on-one battle. Rauji then explained to Adult Lambo that this is sumo match and only had one rule: the one who falls from the platform loses. Since the child Lambo didn’t have any pride, he allowed Rauji to create this rule. He also explained about his pride and revealed his Mountain Flame, acknowledging Lambo as his worthy opponent. Lambo decided to fight with his pride on the line and activated his Vongola Gear’s Cambio Forma into huge armor for Lambo, which is heavy for him he fell down.

Due to Rauji's mountain flame that allowed him to synchronize with the earth, Lambo was knocked off by Rauji but able to kept his balance from falling. This made

Lambo discouraged to fight again, especially after being told that the loser would be imprison at the Vendicare Prison forever, he became less willing to fight and began to cry. However, when Tsuna and Reborn claimed that they regretted their decision for taking Lambo with them because he was still a kid, Lambo stated that they were wrong. In his childhood memories, he was happy to be with Tsuna and the others and wanted to grow up to truly become part of them. He then told Tsuna to always take the younger him with him from now on because he wants to be with him and the others.

Finally remembering how to activate Vongola gear, Lambo charged up his flame and draws the iron sand from the battlefield towards him to form Ellectrico Ironhorn and attack Rauji with Ferro Corno Ellectro Shock. The attack not only destroyed Rauji's mountain, but also Rauji's armor and flames and knocked him out of the ring, thus making Lambo the winner of the battle.

The Second key (The Flower)

While everyone congratulated Lambo for his victory, Rauji

The Second Key

began to yell that even though he lost, Shimon will never lose because Enma will avenge him. He explained that Enma is better boss than Tsuna because he protected his families from the ally families of Vongola who killed the current Shimon Family's parents. The Vendicare then appeared behind Rauji and chained him as they gave them a flower that was the second key the left by Giotto and Cozart.

Vongola and Shimon began to witness again the memory of Giotto and Cozart. At some poor town in Italy, Giotto, G., and Cozart arrived at a flower shop that was attacked by some thugs because the owner, Franco, refused to gave them 90% off and all doctors in town were threatened by them and didn't show up. This angered Giotto who stated that he had enough already. Cozart then suggested forming a Vigilante group because if nobody can help them, they have to protect the town themselves with a powerful leadership that no one else beside Giotto who suit for that role.

After they witnessed the memory, they were shocked to find

out that it was Cozart who suggested to form Vigilante group that became the core of Vongola Family. Rauji showed his disbelieve but Gokudera interrupted that only a great person will be chosen as Vongola and pointed out that Rauji himself was beaten by one of the Vongola guardians. This angered Rauji and he then asked Lambo if Tsuna is a good boss, which Lambo answered that he never thought of Tsuna as his boss, however, he stated that Tsuna is a great Brother. Before Rauji was taken by the vendicare, he stated that he could never forgive Vongola but he accepted Lambo, said that it was fun. Lambo then turned back to his younger self and Tsuna and the others relieved that he won the match. Back at Japan, at Namimori hospital, Byakuran came to the unconscious Yamamoto on the hospital bed with his wings spread out open.

Later, at Simon's meeting room, Julie came and playfully said that he heard Rauji was defeated, this made him being scolded by Adelheid. Julie then commented that Kaoru will not fight since he had beat up Yamamoto before ceremony. Adelheid then asked did he get any new information from their spy but Julie replied that they didn’t have any information from him. He then dragged Enma to drink some coffee with him so he able to relax. In a different room, Julie then revealed that he actually get some information from the spy and told him about CEDEF being the key of the past of their ancestor and showed him a picture of Tsuna's father, Iemitsu. This enraged Enma even more and Julie convinced him that Vongola Primo was a cunning man and already to planned all this from the very beginning and told Enma to sees Vongola as absolute enemy, which Enma agreed to. Julie then thought that all according to his plan.

Vongola Gear of Storm

Tsuna, Gokudera, Lambo, and Reborn continued their way to Shimon's hideout and reached a deserted, run down town. When they checked the town, they heard a voice from one of the houses that turned out to be Shitt P who writing her homework. When Gokudera called her, she just ignored him until he called her by her preferred name, "Shittopi-chan" and she finally responded Gokudera's call, much to surprise Tsuna. She then challenged Gokudera to fight one-on-one with her which he agreed to since he was interested on fighting a UMA. When Gokudera was about to tell her his pride, she cut him off and instead revealed his pride herself that Gokudera's pride was being a subordinate of Vongola tenth, which Gokudera admitted. At this, Shitt P commented that Gokudera is weak and revealed her pride is fighting for herself since she love herself th emost than anybody else. Gokudera then summoned Uri who seemingly tamed but then slowly began to scratch his face until Gokudera ordered him to Cambio Forma and revealed his Vongola Gear, creating the revival of his former title, "The Smoking Bomb."

Breaking Ballons Battle and the Third Key

Gokudera and Shitt P. decided that the rule of the battle would be simple, popping balloons within the limited time of five minutes. When the battle started, Gokudera unleashed his Rocket Bombs but Shitt P. was able to melt them with her ring power and grappled Gokudera. She said that she

loves everyone including him but she loved herself the most . She then popped one of Gokudera's balloons using her high heels as well as melting the earth beneath Gokudera using her Swamp flame, which ferments inorganic object and organic object. .

Gokudera used his Air bomb to escape. Shitt P. then said that his heart that only lives for Tsuna is brittle and normally he didn't even try to look past Tsuna's facade, saying that Tsuna is completely ignorant. Shitt P. began to reveal Tsuna’s faults, which all made Tsuna shocked but admit that she was right and thought that Gokudera probably became disillusioned.

Uri Bomb

However, Gokudera asked is that all and pops one of Shitt P's balloons, making them equal. Gokudera told her that he already knew all those no good parts of Tsuna that Shitt P had mentioned. He stated that he didn't care about it because that was only one side of Tsuna and Tsuna that he think about, the tenth Vongola he respect greatly that has nothing to do with Tsuna. Gokudera then prepare to attack again, to figure out which one is stronger between him and her.

Gokudera then said as he rushed to Shitt P. that he still don't like himself because the right-hand man that he aiming for is far higher up than the current him. He then launched his Rocket Bombs that Shitt P. was able to melt again. However, Uri then attacked Shitt P. from behind and popped the last of Shitt P's balloons, making Gokudera as the winner.

The Third Key (The Letter)

The Vendice then appeared and gave the third key which turned out to be a letter. The flashback showed that Cozart received a letter from Giotto that told him about the Vongola family that had grown so big that even the police couldn't interfere. However, Giotto worried because many people feared Vongola and the biggest war ever will coming up soon and request for Cozart help. After reading the letter, Cozart decided to help Giotto and said he will come soon.After this flashback, Shitt P, commented that because Cozart fought for Giotto and betrayed by him,she

Enma arrives to fight Tsuna

decided to live for herself. She was bullied by others and after some time she assured herself that she was right to act as an induvidual. She then called Gokudera an UMA, much to shock the other but also said that he is interesting and she wished to know more about him. Tsuna then interrupted stating that he will save Ryohei and also other Shimon guardians that were being imprisoned in Vendicare, much to the shock of the others and even Tsuna himself who wondered why he said that. However, Enma then came and said it's none of his business and intended to help Shitt P but Vendicare still took her with them, saying that they won't let anyone interfere. Before being taken away, Shitt P said that Enma is kind and she glad she joined Shimon. Enma then unleashed his Shimon ring power with teary eyes, blamed Tsuna for the lost of his friends and everything precious to him. Adelheid and Julie arrived at the scene. Adelheid tried to stop Enma but was stopped by Julie who said that they should let him go. Enma then declared that he will defeat Tsuna right here and right now.

Tsuna and the others were shocked by Enma's sudden declaration. Adelheid tried to convince Enma to stop because it's not the time yet to defeat Tsuna. However, Enma was no longer able to control his anger and shouted at Adelheid, saying that he is not a kid anymore. Due to the lost of his three of his guardians, he blamed Tsuna entirely of this fact. Tsuna, who at first stuttered by Enma, became angered too as he thought of Enma made his friends suffered and entered Hyper Dying Will Mode, saying that what Enma did was not different. Enma became more enraged and intended to crush Tsuna like he did at Inheritance Ceremony. However, Tsuna, who wore his Vongola Gear, was unscathed. The two clashed without any of them at advantage nor disadvantage.

Enma prepares to kill Tsuna

When they stopped, Enma began to insult Giotto and that Tsuna was no different than him. Tsuna defended Giotto after this insult, reminded Enma of the memories from the Keys. Enma laughed at this and said that Tsuna was unfair; he will always be Vongola as proven by the crest on his gloves. He also said that Tsuna hoped too much, wielding the Vongola crest and hurt many people and then saying don't want to succeed become the boss, which Tsuna countered that he didn't mean to hurt people, he only wanted to use his power to protect his friends. Enma, however, accused Tsuna of being a fraud and a liar like Giotto. He then revealed that Tsuna’s father Iemitsu Sawada was the one who killed his family shocking Tsuna into returning to his normal mode. Enma pointed out that he didn't want to believe what was not favorable to him with teary eyes. Enma took this chance and grabbed Tsuna by his neck, stating that he will never forgive Tsuna until he killed him.

When Enma prepares to Kill Tsuna, his ring goes out of control due to not yet fully awakening and made him cry in pain. Adelheid took this chance and told him that it was ok and she'll take him back to the hideout but not before telling Tsuna that next time they meet, she will be his enemy and they will have their battle of pride for the Vindice's imprisonment. When they took their leave, Julie commented that Tsuna just like the Vongola Primo. Gokudera and Reborn approached Tsuna who was still shock and took deep damage mentally. Back at Shimon hideout, Chrome attempted to escape but Julie already arrived back there and laughed at her

futile attempt. He then said that they get along quite well a whole lot more than Mukuro and also about Chrome's past. Chrome surprised and asked how does he knew about Mukuro. He began to revealed that the island have some special defence structure in place and Mukuro's illusions cannot reach her. The reason that Chrome's organs functioning well was because he was the one who created it in replacement of Mukuro. Chrome at first didn't want to believe this, stated that she received the body from Mukuro. Julie then tested it by made her organs disappear which it does, made Chrome's stomach sink and coughed bloody. He told her that the reason he go that far to help her even though they were enemies was because both Chrome and her body are important to him and then he created back her organs. Julie then offered her to become his, which Chrome quickly refused and said that she don't need the organs that he made, which surprised Julie and decided to tell her his secret: He was the one who devised the entire war between Vongola and Shimon for two goals, first to

annihilate the Vongola which Enma and Adelheid really trying best to accomplish and second is to use Chrome as his entrance to get to Mukuro and take his body. Julie then dismissed his illussions and revealed his true identity as Vongola first mist guardian, Daemon Spade that shocked Chrome greatly. He requested Chrome to submit her body by her own will but Chrome refused again and made Daemon no choice but to punish her and proceed to use his right eye that revealed a spade symbol and made her obey to him.

Back at Vongola ship, Timoteo asked Ganauche is there any news from Tsuna, which Ganauche replied that they haven't. Ganauche then suggested Timoteo to sleep since he haven't sleep for four days but Timoteo refused and instead asked about the condition at Namimori hospital but then interrupted with the arrival of Brow Nie Jr. who got information regarding Shimon Family. He said that all seven members of Shimon Families had killed.

Timoteo then asked if they were persecuted or not, when Brow Nie Jr. said that many cases were exist, Timoteo interrupted by saying that he asked wheter they truly persecuted or not. Brow Nie apologized and promised to speed up the information but then said that something different regarding the cases of Enma's parents and sister. Timoteo asked what it meant and he reminded about "Flood of Blood" incident that occured under CEDEF, which surprised Timoteo as he remembered and made face of disbelieve.

At Enma's room, Enma dreamed about his sister while Adelheid accompanied him as she wondered how Julie got the information regarding Enma's family and remembered that in the past, he is not that kind of person who would agitate Enma this much. Before she left to her area, she assured Enma that she will purge the Vongola. On the way to Shimon hideout, Lambo asked Tsuna to play with

him since he was silenced all the way due to shock he received when Enma revealed about his father. Suddenly, a helicopter appeared and flew away and Gokudera used this to cheer up Tsuna but fail. Tsuna then finally spoke, he don't know if he done the right thing anymore becaus ehe thought that Enma wasn't lying since he could felt his sorrow and sadness through his fist. Reborn then commented that he also think that Enma wasn't lying but he also said that even though what Enma said was true Reborn wondered if the Shimon really wanted things to truned out this way as he said that when Enma attacked them something didn't feel right, suspecting there's dark shadow behind Shimon.

Meanwhile, at another room in Simon hideout, Chrome changed her clothes to Simon Middle School uniform. Daemon then appeared as he commented that the uniform suit her well. He changed back to Julie as he said that he want to quickly get use to controling her mind so she can stay with him all the time and ordered her to come closer and snuggle up to him.

Back with Tsuna's group Gokudera felt uneasy about the dark shadow that Reborn mentioned earlier since they don't have absolute proof. Reborn the said that just as Tsuna said, seeing each members of Shimon's honesty and terrible action as a group made him feel something off about it, thinking that perhaps the Shimon are not monolithic. Adelheid then appeared suddenly challening Tsuna to a duel as she promised. Upon reciving no answer when she questioned him about his pride Adelheid then claimed that his pride must be the crule blood that runs through his veins. However before anyone could respond a helicopter arrived and dropped of Hibari. Although he was looking for Enma, Hibari agreed to fight Adelheid challenged to vent his frustration. Upon establishing their prides they agreed to decide the winner on who could steal the others armband first. Adelheid then leapt down the cliff while using her Glacier flames to freze the waterfall on her decent.Before he went to the battlefield, Hibari asked Tsunato pay carefull attention to the fight. He then used roll to create a propagating staircase to arrive at the bottom. From afar, Daemon and Chrome watched the battle. Daemon commented that Adelheid should do more than enough to defeat the Vongola, naming her the passion of Shimon. Hibari then revealed his Vongola Gear which modified his own uniform and his tonfas.

Adelheid's Bliizzaroids

Adelheid then commented that she wouldn't need to attack and dodged Hibari's attack by jumpimg into the waterfall. Using her Glacier flame she formed huge ice castle within the waterfall that she claimed to be impenetrble.Hibari pointed out her inability to take his armband but she responded by creating five hundred ice Blizzaroids from the river surrounding Hibari.Admiering her ability Daemon then commented on how Adelheid strived to reunite the originally worthless Simon, and that his plan to manipulate them wouldn't have worked without her passion. Simon Family by borrowing the vessel of Julie Katou, he was able to control all of them, considers her as their goddess of victory. Adelheid then ordered her puppets to attack Hibari, causing him to unleash a wave of bladed chains from his tonfa's.

Hibari destroys the first wave of Ice clones

Hibari then proclaimed that he would never gve up his dicipline, no matter what, and that this is what pride is. But it's not because it is his pride that he will not give up but it is because he cannot give. Hibari continued to defeat many Bliizzaroids with his Vongola Gear using his chains Needle Sphear Form and Handcuffs. Daemon commented that Hibari shared many traits with Vongola Primo's strongest guardian and the first CEDEF External Advisor, Alaude and wondered if this was a second coming of Primo's Family. Hibari then extended his chains with the cloud flame's propagation ability and whirled it around, destroying all Adelheid's remaining Puppets.

Hibari turned to Adelheid, ready to destroy the Diamond Castle. However, as Adelheid said that it's impossible, she created another ice puppets. When Adelheid asked why Hibari siding with Tsuna, Hibari replied that he didn't siding with him and asked back why Adelheid siding with Enma who he calls small animal. Adlheid answered that Enma is no weak animal, he's a strong man that bearing the sadness of Simon. Hibari insisted that Enma is a weak animal and since he bears things disproportionate to himself, he keeps on screaming. This angered Adelheid and ordered her ice puppets to attack Hibari as she continued saying that they symphatize with him, they decided to follow him.

Hibari attempts to shatter the Ice castle

Hibari jumped to the Diamond castle, tried to destroy it but it won't even budge. As Hibari defeated the Ice puppets and make his own way back to Adelheid, he tried to destroy the castle again with his full power but once again failed and only managed to made a small crack. Reborn stated at this rate, Hibari will lose all of his stamina. While Hibari continued to dodging the attack of the Blizzaroids, he said that in some cases, small animal aren't weaklings, if they are, they were already anihilated from the world and small animals have their own way to survive. Adelheid aske what does he meant, Hibari replied by showing Roll who will be the one who destroy the ice castle. Even though the castle able to whitstand any attack from outside, it cannot whitstand from inside. From the crack that Hibari made, Roll began to multiplying and expanding, destroying the castle.

Hibari steals Adelheid's armband

When Adelheid reached to ground, Hibari already behind her with his tonfa pointing at her, saying that it's over. Adelheid said that Enma will surely revive Simon and he will regret for siding with Vongola. Hibari said that he only do as he likes, which made Adelheid commented that he truly are the floating cloud uncontrolable by any being, in the ned he became the Vongola Cloud guardian of the great sky. Hibari dislike the way she phrased him, but he admits that she has a point, it is sky that allows the cloud to move about freely but someday he will bite up even the sky itself.

The Fourth and Fifth Keys

The Fourth Key

The Vendice appear to arrest Adelheid and to give the fourth key, an inkwell. The fourth key shows Giotto and the others in the middle of meeting regarding the massive mafia war they were in. Knuckle suddenly enters and informs his family that the Shimon are surrounded by the enemies from all four directions and are at the center of the enemy's camp. Giotto who is bewildered by this information is confused as to how Cozart came to know of the war, and intends to rescue his friend without hesitation. However, Daemon Spade assure the Primo that he will be the one to assist the Shimon, which Giotto accepts and is relieved by. When the memory ends, everyone realizes that someone has set a trap for Cozart, since Giotto had never spoken of the Vongola's war to Cozart. Hibari then realizes someone is watching them and throws his handcuff towards the figure who reveals himself to be Julie along with Chrome. Adelheid asks Julie to take care of Enma, to which Julie agrees but then continues by saying that from now on he will leave his place in Shimon Family. After Reborn refers to him as the dark shadow of the Shimon, he finally reveals himself as Daemon Spade, much to everyone's shock. Reborn is suspicious of whether or not he is the real Daemon Spade or not, to which Spade replied by saying that whether he chooses to believe or not, he exists. When Tsuna asks why he's done all that he has, Daemon answers it is all for the sake of the Vongola. He states that Giotto was a great leader but lacked of ambition in the mafia world, where power and greed are the only absolute justice. He continued that with Giotto's nature, it would have been impossible to create the flawless Vongola Family and

therefore, he would do anything necessarry to eliminate anything and anyone that will weaken the Vongola—just like Cozart and the Shimon whom he saw as a threat. Thus admitting that he was the cause of Cozart Shimon's death. Spade tells of how he used the Shimon's dormant power amplified by hatred in order to try and eliminate the tenth boss candidate who would try to succeed Primo's will. This angers Adelheid who then realizes that Julie must still exist and demands Spade where he is and what he has done to him. However, the first Mist Guardian answers was there is probably a slight bit of "that garbage" left inside him and Adelheid tearfully apologizes to Enma. Daemon comments that the Shimon are a bunch of inexperienced children after all. However, at this moment, Kaoru appears and stabs Daemon from behind.

... but it's an illusion

However, it turns out that Spade used an illusion of himself, and the real Daemon Spade stabs Kaoru from behind, revealing that he controls not only the Mist of the Seven Flames of the Sky, but he also commands the power of Desert of Seven Flames of the Earth. Hibari then challenges him into fight, but instead Spade orders Chrome to create a Mist Barrier with her technique, Cortina Nebbia, to trap Tsuna and the others since he realizes that it will be troublesome if they all attack him at once. Realizing something wrong with Chrome, Tsuna asked why she listens to Daemon, to which Chrome replies that she belongs to him and thus, so does Mukuro's body. Daemon explains that in order to create a strong Vongola after Tsuna and his family are gone, he will need a strong, tough, and healty vessel—to which Mukuro is the perfect candidate. Reborn notes that most likely, in order to interact with reality, Spade needs to be inside a body; hence using Chrome as means to get to Rokudo Mukuro. Knowing Daemon's intentions, Hibari claims that he must bite him to death now because Mukuro is his prey. Daemon laughs but then warns them that if the Mist Barrier breaks, Chrome will die.

Yamamoto saves Karou from Daemon

Kaoru desperately stands up and once again stabs Daemon but it has no effect and Daemon counters it easily, gravely injuring Kaoru. Tsuna panicks seeing Kaoru will be killed but Gokudera angrily interrupts that Kaoru is also the one responsible for injuring Yamamoto. Daemon thanks Kaoru for what he has done and is about to give him the finishing blow when he is stopped by the fully recovered Yamamoto who blocks his Scythe with his sword, surprising everyone. Kaoru asks why he saved him when he had attempted to take his life, Yamamoto replies that it is because they are friends.

Yamomoto's Vongola Gear

Kaoru apologizes tearfully to Yamamoto, who forgave him and told him to leave the rest to him. Tsuna asks if he is really alright as Daemon says that he still cannot believe that Yamamoto, who was supposed to be injured to the verge of death, is standing right in front of him, which Yamamoto replies that Daemon himself is some ghost who was supposed to be dead long time ago. When Daemon noticed that Yamamoto doesn't seem to be illusion, Yamamoto tells him that he was saved by an acquaintance. Daemon doesn't know who he is refering to but just puts it aside and claims that he will correct his plan with his own hands. This excites Yamamoto who finally reveales his Vongola Gear, Necklace of Rain Version X. After Yamamoto reveales his two sword-style Vongola Gear, Daemon strikes at him, which blocked easily by Yamamoto. However, Daemon tells him that if he was him, he wouldn't focus only on what in front of him and as he says this, a claw comes through ground behind Yamamoto but is blocked by Kaoru who wanted to pay back his debt. Another Vendice appears behind Kaoru and arrests him, stating that Kaoru already lost his pride before the

The Fifth Key

battle could even start, thus, making him the loser. Kaoru explained that his pride was to do anything for the sake of the Simon. However, to betray Yamamoto, who he sees as his friend, is unbearable to him and he wants to pay for the crimes he has commited and apologizes to Adelheid, for he no longer have any capability to fight the Vongola. Daemon mocks him as trash and useless and then says that thanks to his loss, they are finally able to see a fantastic show. The fifth key is revealed to be a document with a Dying Will Flame on it. Daemon states that the next memory that will be shown is the last moments of Cozart who fell into his trap and was killed limb to limb.

The fifth key showes Daemon along with his subordinates, who have found Cozart's location. Knowing how persistent Cozart is, he hands his subordinates a letter with a Dying Flame signed on it to trick Cozart and the others so that he could kill him when there's an opening. After this, Daemon went back to Vongola mansion, pretending that he was beat up and his subordinates were killed and lies to Giotto that Cozart is already dead, which upset Giotto and replies that Daemon has done a good job and he's at his debt

The Five Guardians arrive to save Cozart and his Family

At Simon's place, which was surounded by enemies, Daemon's subordinates arrive, saying that they have come to help them. However, Cozart knew that they were sent by Daemon to kill him, since he knew that the third letter that he received was fake because the letter was signed "from Primo" and Giotto would never refer himself that to him. Cozart turns into Hyper Dying Will Mode, stating that he will fight until the end for his friends and his family. At this, Daemon's subordinates tear apart the letter and reveal themselves as G. and the other Guardians that were ordered to assist them by Giotto, who had seen through Daemon's plan. G. assures Cozart that the men with him are just like him, Giotto's guardians, and that they can be trusted. G. explains that they could've gone all out but they didn't want Daemon to know that they were saving him and told Cozart the four guardians would fight the enemies, while he and Cozart would go to Giotto. Before they go, Cozart thanks G. and the others.

Everyone shocked by the revelation of the fifth key

As the memories ended, which revealed that Cozart had not been killed, it shocks all of the participants, especially Daemon, who then shouts in disbelief that Giotto had saw through his plan. Reborn said that it seems the history of Simon has been rewritten. Tsuna happilly exclaimed that Giotto never betrayed Cozart and that their friendship never wavered at all. Daemon furiously cursed Giotto, who has faked Cozart's death, but is interjected by Reborn who wondered if Cozart had never been assasinated, then why there are no lying records of him afterwards, much to everyones confusion. The Vendice finally imprison Kaoru and Adelheid but not before Adelheid begged Tsuna to save Enma and apologizes for what she had done to them, while Kaoru asked Yamamoto if it's okay with him, he wants to be friend with him.

As they were taken away, Daemon laughs and mocks them, saying that they are just foolish children who have been led astray by people from the past. He claims that he is indeed surprised by the difference between the past he knew and Giotto's but he won't let any event in the past jeopardize the Vongola Family that he envisioned. This enrages Yamamoto who decided that he will kill him while Tsuna should take a rest.

Yamamoto strikes Daemon

As the battle began, Yamamoto is able to briefly injured Daemon with his new technique, twelfth form Udachi, Kirisame. However, Chrome then interferes and states that she wouldn't let him pass until Daemon told her to step down. Before Chrome and Daemon leave, Yamamoto hands her the Ore of the Mist Version X, saying that they will always wait for her as she and Daemon dissapear into mist. Yamamoto falls into his knees due to his body not being fully recovered and they decide to set a camp and rest for a night. Yamamoto reveals that Byakuran was the one who healed him and

assured Tsuna and the others, when they panicked that Byakuran might abuse his power again, that he pose zero threat with under 24 hours surveilance of Vongola and he's somehow different from the Byakuran that they fought in the future. When they back to the topic regarding the war they currently in and Enma's story about his family were killed by Iemitsu, Tsuna stated that when he watched Hibari's fight and the revelation of the keys, he doesn't feel lost anymore, all of it were Daemon's doing, making him determined that they must beat Daemon Spade and save Chrome and Enma because they're his friends and he won't lose to the weakness of his own heart anymore, he will believe in Iemitsu until the very end. At Simon castle, Enma is seen fully awakened by his hatred while he mutters that he must kill Tsuna.

Enma's Earth Ring Awakens

The next day, at Enma's throne, Daemon disguising as Julie confronts Enma and tells him that Adelheid and Kaoru have both been beaten and taunts him, saying that the Vongola is the reason he lost everything precious to him. This enrages Enma and makes him consumed by his own ring as he released the fully awakened Earth Simon Ring and nearly destroys the castle. Julie changes back to Daemon and says that it is now too late for any voices to reach him and that Enma has reborn as a killing machine. Daemon leaves the elimination of Tsuna and his family to Enma and says that they will celebrate it soon by destroying Tsuna's skull and laughs evily as he leaves.

At a circular building in the island, Daemon confronts Chrome, who is tied up by him so she won't be able to resist when he undoes the mind control. When Daemon undoes the mind control on Chrome, she panics but Daemon assurees her that he will make her wishes come true; he will let her meet Mukuro by removing the island's barrier. Since Mukuro must be worried about her and will come save her from Vendice Prison with his power. Chrome asks why now, to which Daemon reveals that he wishes to fight Mukuro with the fully awakened Simon Desert Ring.

This made Chrome realize that Daemon intends to use her to lure out Mukuro and stated he won't let it happen to which Daemon replies that no one cares about what she thinks and Mukuro will be the one who decide. Daemon then removes the barrier as Chrome begs him to stop but it's already too late. Daemon removes Chrome's organs that he made and says that it's only a matter of time before she dies. Chrome mutters to Mukuro to not come as Daemon shouts to Mukuro to come out or Chrome will die.

Mukuro appears

Mukuro then appears out of spite as calls Daemon a rotten mafia. Daemon comments of his arrival and with one glance, he could tell that he's a skillfull illusionist. Mukuro comments back that he also could feel the same with one glance and that Daemon is the epitome of everything that he hate to which Daemon found interesting. He continues by saying that Mukuro knows how to lose his temper, but rage will make him weak and offers to have some tea. Mukuro quickly refuses and states that for now he will bring him with him to kingdom of hell.

Tsuna and the others, on the other hand, enter a cave and Tsuna reveals that he somehow felt that Mukuro was on the island. Reborn added that if Mukuro really is here, then something must be happened to Chrome, making Tsuna determined to be in hurry. At the end of the cave, they are shocked to find underground castle with flames coming out from it, to which Tsuna realizes that they were Enma's flames. As Tsuna and the other guardians stand outside the Shimon castle, Natsu runs off into it.

Tsuna tries to escape Enma's Black Holes

As they enter, they find Natsu in front of a big door. Tsuna opens the door to see someone sitting on a chair with white hair, which Yamamoto suspected as Daemon's new assasin. However, when Tsuna takes a closer look, he realizes that it is Enma, much to the other's shock. Natsu runs to Enma but then stops in its tracks when Enma mutters "must...kill" again as his face is scaring Natsu. Tsuna picks up Natsu and tells Enma that Cozart was never betrayed by Giotto as he had seen it himself. However, Enma refused to listen and instead unleashed his fully awakened power. Reborn concludes that it's just like Adelheid has said, Enma has became a ball of resent and revenge and that no one's voice could reach him now. When Gokudera and Yamamoto prepare to fight Enma together, Tsuna halted them, telling them to leave everything to him, assuring that Enma will be alright. At this, Hibari comes and says that Enma is his prey but he could wait for Tsuna to be killed first and then he will bite him to death, much to Gokudera's anger. Tsuna apologizes to Hibari and turns into Hyper Dying Will Mode, claiming to Enma that if his voice couldn't reach him then he will reach him with his fist and told him to open his eyes as he fly straight to Enma.

Enma then shoots out spheres that made Tsuna unable to fly straight as he was sucked in by the spheres due to Enma's Earth Flame's power to control Gravitation. However, Tsuna still manages to overcome this and continues his way to Enma. Enma shatters the spheres, creating black holes that will be dangerous if Tsuna got sucked in even once. When one of the black holes begins to sucked Tsuna, Tsuna shouts to Enma not to underestimate him and tells Natsu to use Cambio Forma.
