Etymology[]
- Her name is the Japanese word for "spring".
- The name Haru is written in katakana (ハル), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (陽, 春 or 晴), it could possibly mean:
- 陽 - "light, sun, male".
- 春 - "spring".
- 晴 - "clear weather".
- Haru's surname Miura means "three" (三) (mi) and "bay, inlet" (浦) (ura).

- In the Reborn! Fandom, she is known as 86.
- In the female character popularity ranking published along Chapter 164, Haru ranks 3rd after Chrome Dokuro and Lal Mirch.
- In the manga, she along with Kyoko was shot with the Dying Will Bullet by Reborn. This was taken out of the anime.
