History[]

Hibari has a past that's never brought up and mostly shrouded in mystery. He lives in an enormous traditional Japanese mansion with decorative structures similar to the bases in the Future Arc. Takeshi Yamamoto has heard rumors that Hibari's parents are from prominent families, but is unsure whether the rumors are true or not. It is implied that the rumour is most likely true as Hibari is shown to have enough influence to freely pick whichever year he choose at school, controlling Namimori Hospital to the point the director of the said hospital would turn blind eye to any violence Hibari did to other patients, and he and his disciplinary committee is feared enough by the neighbours during festival seasons.

Ever since he was kindergarten, Hibari is already fixated with disciplinary activities together with Tetsuya Kusakabe as his right-handman. At some point, Hibari entered Namimori Junior High and became the leader of the Disciplinary Committee. It's unknown when this happened, with Ryohei Sasagawa admitting that Hibari was already the chairman of the Disciplinary Committee since he first entered the school. Hibari has even mentioned to Tsunayoshi Sawada that he always picks whatever year he wants, making it hard to tell whether or not he truly is still a junior high student.

When Ryohei first met Hibari, he initially mistook Hibari as an ordinary student while thinking that Kusakabe the rumored Hibari. Ryohei then always went to the school rooftop to accompany Hibari, assuming that Hibari might be lonely, and tried to befriend him, much to Hibari's annoyance. When Ryohei was beaten up right before the boxing tournament against Nobuyuki Middle School, Ryohei finally found out that Kusakabe is not the real Hibari. Hibari was present at the arena after Kyoko asked him to help them win the boxing match. He fulfilled Kyoko's request under one condition: after the tournament is over, Ryohei must never ask Hibari to join the boxing club. Ryohei agreed, and this explains why Ryohei has never asked Hibari to join the boxing club despite Hibari's reputation and strength.

Daily Life Arc[]

Hibari reveals himself as the person who's using the reception room disciplinary committee and intimidates other committees that oppose him, unaware that an intrigued Reborn is watching him from a distance. When Reborn decides to use the reception room as a family hideout, Hibari is already inside. He promises to not let them leave unscratched for entering and Gokudera's smoking, then goes on to express his dislike towards weaklings and desire to beat them up.

Hibari and Reborn

Hibari first met Reborn.

Tsuna becomes Hibari's first victim, much to the anger of Hayato and Takeshi who make a failed attempt to defend themselves from Hibari. Reborn shoots Tsuna with a Dying Will Bullet, in order to help Tsuna face off against Hibari, but Hibari turns out to be stronger than most opponents Tsuna has previously faced. Tsuna does manage to hit Hibari with a slipper after getting shot with the Bullet, but the fight is quickly stopped by Reborn. Hibari is still in a bad mood and attempts to fight Reborn, who uses a bomb to make an escape. Sometime later, Hibari hopes to see Reborn once again, believing that he isn't a weakling.

In spring, Tsuna and his friends wished to have a hanami, but Hibari intended to use the place for his Disciplinary Committee. They settled things with a battle. The rule is that the one who get his knees on the ground first must concede the spot to the victor. At first, Hibari seemed to be in advantage, defeating Gokudera and Yamamoto. However, Dr. Shamal gave Hibari the sakura-kura virus, causing him to be paralyzed if he's near cherry blossoms. This forced Hibari to retreat, allowing Tsuna's Family to view the cherry blossoms in peace.

Paralyzed, Hibari was reduced to a punching bag and was defeated by Mukuro. He was imprisoned, but later freed by Gokudera. Hibari then defeated both Ken Joshima and Chikusa Kakimoto with ease and was given the cure to his illness.

HibarivsMukuro

Hibari fights Mukuro.

He and Gokudera arrived on time to save Tsuna from Mukuro's snakes. Despite his injuries, he challenged Mukuro again and the two fought. For a moment, Hibari was able to fight equally against Mukuro, but his wound caused him to lose strength as the battle went on. Mukuro tried to defeat Hibari again by taking advantage of his sakura-kura disease. Hibari pretended to fall for the trick, but then attacked Mukuro at the last minute while Mukuro lowered his guard, allowing him to seemingly defeated Mukuro before he passed out from his wounds. Mukuro later tried to possess Hibari's body, but stopped due to the severity of the wounds. After Mukuro was defeated, he was tended by the Vongola medical team.

Varia Arc[]

Ep 37 Hibari

Hibari threatens Dino he will throw his Vongola Ring.

Hibari was made the Vongola Cloud Guardian, but refused to be taught by Dino let alone listening to him about the Ring Battle, even threatening to throw away the Cloud Vongola Ring if Dino don't fight seriously. Learning that Namimori Middle School would be used as battleground for the Ring Battle, Dino baited Hibari into fighting outside the school ground. They fought in multiple environments so as to increase Hibari's fighting experience and so that he wouldn't see the damage done to the school. As a result, when Hibari reappeared after the Storm Ring Battle. He was enraged seeing the school being messed up and was about to fight the Varia. He was only calmed down by the prospect of fighting Mukuro by Reborn. After the Cervello assured Hibari that they'll compensate for the entire damage, Hibari agreed to retreat and wait until it's his turn to fight.

Hibari Beats the Mosca

Hibari defeated Gola Moska.

During the Cloud Ring Battle, he appeared to easily defeat the Gola Moska robot and won the match after merging both halves of the Cloud Vongola Ring, shocking everyone who were watching. He attempted to battle with Xanxus as he's not satisfied with just fighting Gola Moska. Xanxus reasoned that he's just trying to retrieve the Moska, but Hibari didn't buy it and continue to attack Xanxus who only dodged Hibari's attack. However, Gola Moska once again became active and injured Hibari. It's revealed that Xanxus purposely provoked Hibari to reactivate Gola Moska and made it go on a rampage. This rampage was stopped by Tsuna, and the Cervello then announced the Sky Match that will be held the next day. Despite another destruction of the whole school, Hibari relented with going through with the match if it means it would make Tsuna bare his fangs.

Hibari vs Bel

Hibari fights Belphegor.

During the Sky Ring Battle, Hibari and the other Guardians were poisoned by Death Heater venom injected through their wristwatch. Hibari was paralyzed for a while, but eventually manage to resist the venom and destroyed his the pole holding the Cloud Vongola Ring, curing himself. He then confronted Belphegor, throwing the Storm Vongola Ring in the process to Gokudera that allowed the Storm Guardian to recover. While fighting Belphegor, Hibari at first has no clue that Belphegor is using wires to control his knives until Hibari caught the knives that aimed at him. Now knowing the trick, Hibari cut the wires using the chains from his tonfa and forced Belphegor to retreat. He retired after rescuing Gokudera and Yamamoto, but immediately returned to force the Varia to surrender.

Future Arc[]

Hibari defeats Gamma

Future Hibari defeats Gamma

In the Future, Hibari searched for information concerning Box Weapons by starting the Foundation, travelling the world to do so. He also worked together in secret with the future Tsuna and the Millefiore Famiglia spy Irie Shoichi to send their past selves to their timeline. Returning to Namimori, Hibari later saved Gokudera and Yamamoto from Gamma, easily defeating the Millefiore member. He then guided Tsuna and the others back to Vongola hideout through his hidden entrance. Afterwards, Hibari agreed to train Tsuna, trapping him in his globe of Needles, resulting in a hallucinogenic state where Tsuna was granted his Inheritance after undergoing the Vongola Trial. Seeing Tsuna's upgraded X-Gloves, Hibari get excited as Tsuna started to become like his future self. However, Hibari soon lost interest when Tsuna was incapable of properly controlling his Soft Flame and Hard Flame. He resorted using his Box, but noticed one of them were taken by Tsuna who then used it against Hibari. Hibari retaliated using his other Hedgehog Box, revealing that while the Sky Flame can open all Boxes, it can't unleash the full power of the Boxes that is not of the same attributes. True to this, Hibari's hedgehog easily defeated Tsuna's hedgehog. Hibari ended the training there, leaving the rest to Lal until the next schedule.

Ep 95 Hibari and Chome

Hibari instructs Chrome to use Vongola Ring to survive.

While waiting for the upcoming battle, future Ryohei arrived with the past Chrome, delivering news from Varia. Hibari received report from Kusakabe regarding the man that made contact with the future Chrome a month prior in Italy, learning that the man's identity was a criminal named Guido Greco who escaped from prison a year ago. Realizing the similarities in the history between Guido and Mukuro, Hibari realized that the man was possessed by Mukuro. He was visited by Ryohei who questioned Tsuna's resolve in going through with the plan. Hibari answered that there's a slight chance of the mission's success if Tsuna and the others put their experiences to use. While preparing for the invasion of Merone Base, Hibari heard of Chrome's critical condition due to her failing organs. Hibari instructed Chrome to draw out the power of Mist Vongola Ring to create her own illusionary organs to survive, saving her life. Hibari continued to train Tsuna until Tsuna was able to properly use both his Hard Flame and Soft Flame.

Hibari's Ambush

Hibari prepares to fight all Millefiore army.

The night before the day of their infiltration, Hibari received intel from Shoichi that Glo Xinia has placed a tracker inside Chrome's bag during their battle, meaning that Millefiore knows their hideout location. Before the ambush is carried out, Hibari took the tracker from Chrome's bag and lured the advancing Millefiore army to an empty bunker, away from the real hideout location, and trapped all the members inside. He stayed alone to distract the army while Tsuna and the others infiltrated the Merone Base ahead of time, seeing it as a perfect opportunity since the majority of Millefiore army within Merone Base has been reduced greatly. Hibari single-handedly defeated all Millefiore members that he had trapped before departing to Merone Base himself with Chrome, Kusakabe, Lambo, and I-Pin also following behind.

Hibari vs Genkishi

Genkishi uses his four swords against Hibari

Hibari arrived right on time before Genkishi could kill Yamamoto, questioning Genkishi the whereabouts of Irie's white round device. Seeing Genkishi is an illusionist, Hibari immediately accepted his challenge to fight due to his hatred for illusionist. The two were evenly matched, though Hibari soon realized that he had no more rings to spare. Hibari used his remaining rings to perform Reverse Needle Sphere to create a space where Genkishi's Box Weapon is sealed, forcing a direct fight. Unfortunately, Genkishi still has his Mare Ring, giving the illusionist advantage, but Hibari remained fearless. As Genkishi was about to land a finishing blow, Hibari was replaced by his past self (a fact that his future self was also made aware of). After receiving help from the injured Guardians and Kusakabe, Hibari was able to separate the group from Genkishi when his Hedgehog Box Weapon expanded at great speed due to the strength of his Dying Will Flames, but this consequently caused them to be at risk being killed by the rampaging Box Weapon.

Ep 137 Irie, Hibari, Gokudera

Hibari and Gokudera demands to beat up Irie.

As they were cornered between the rampaging Box Weapon and Irie's Merone Base structure, Irie used this opportunity to capture all of them. He and the others awakened to find themselves being held captive by Irie, trapped inside a capsule to be used as bargaining chip against Tsuna. However, Irie later revealed that he is actually on their side after shooting the two Cervellos serving him. Irie revealed that everything has been planned by himself, future Tsuna, and future Hibari, surprising the prefect. Hibari and the others were freed afterwards, though Hibari and Gokudera were still angry at Irie for everything he had done and wanted to beat him at least once, ignoring Irie's plea until Reborn stopped them. He then received the Vongola Box.

During his trial of charisma, Skull paid Viper to trick Mukuro Rokudo and Hibari into beating up Tsuna. Hibari knew that the Tsuna who provoked him was not the real one, but still decided to follow him. Arriving at Kokuyo Land, he met the real Tsuna at the same time as Mukuro. Contrary to Skull's expectation, Hibari and Mukuro instead became more focused in battling one another rather than attacking Tsuna. He and Mukuro defeated some of Skull's henchmen before fighting somewhere else without interruption. Eventually, Tsuna was able to convince the two to stop. Already have enough fun from the fight, Hibari returned to Namimori, promising to Mukuro that one day he will defeat the real him.
Hibari Defeated by Reborn

Hibari after fighting Reborn

A few days later, during Reborn's trial of leadership, Hibari was the first Guardian to attack Reborn. All of his repeated attacks were at first blocked by Reborn until Hibari managed to swat away Leon from Reborn's hand. This didn't last long as Reborn immediately retrieved and changed Leon into his gun form and shot Hibari at point blank, instantly defeating him, which was followed with the rest of the Vongola Guardians and Tsuna, making them failed the trial. After Shamal treated him and learning Reborn is not present, Hibari returned to Namimori since nothing interest him anymore.

While resting at Namimori-Middle School, Hibari was attacked by a robot sent by Verde to kill him, which Hibari easily destroyed. Realizing something is amidst since the target is his Vongola Ring and angered that the peace in Namimori is disrupted, Hibari returned to the island, saving Chrome from one of Verde's Box Weapon prototypes. He then got his flames absorbed by Verde, weakening him for a while. However, Hibari soon recovered and unleashed more powerful flame to destroy Verde's remaining Box Weapons together with the others.

Choice Arc[]

He later left the group and encountered the Future Dino, who began training him once again. At the day of the Choice Battle, he and Yamamoto arrived at the last minute and opened their Box Weapons to allow them access into the Choice battlefield. When the participants decided didn't include someone with Cloud Flame from the Vongola side, Hibari didn't want to follow the rule and insisted on participating. He was convinced to stay and watch by Dino, who told him he can go all out once Tsuna and the others are finished with the Millefiore. After the Vongola lost the Choice battle, Hibari used his Vongola Box to slow down the Six Funeral Wreaths in order to help the Vongola escape.

After being sent back to the past to train, the Guardians meet Giotto, who revealed that the 10th Generation Guardians had yet to inherit the true power of the Vongola. Later Skull became Hibari's tutor as they both possess the Cloud Flame. That night Alaudi appeared before him from the Vongola Ring. Hibari asked Alaudi if he's strong or weak to which Alaudi replied that he's strong, but has no interest in facing a child and left. Later that week, Alaudi appeared again to give Hibari his trial. Hibari prepared himself to battle but Alaudi told him that the trial would not involve fighting, making Hibari lose interest and walk away. Alaudi then told Hibari that he shall deem him worthy of his Inheritance if he demonstrated his value as the Cloud Guardian, warning him that he only had until the end of the day.

Ep 184 Hibari

Hibari destroys Skull's missile.

Ryohei tried to persuade Hibari to take his trial and ended up annoying Hibari with his persistence, and as the two prepared to fight on the school roof, Skull arrived via an airship and, angered by Hibari's lack of obedience, began to attack. During the fight the airship began to lose control and crash towards the School, however Ryohei and Hibari worked together and managed to stop it while defeating Skull and protecting Kyoko Sasagawa and Haru Miura. Afterwards Hibari agreed to take the trial in order to repay Ryohei for protecting the school but at that moment Knuckle showed up, announcing that Ryohei had already passed his Trial by convincing Hibari. Alaudi also appeared, declaring that Hibari too, had passed the test by refraining from socializing with the family while at the same time adapting to the situation to protect those that needed protection.

Later, while the other Guardians were trapped in Demon Spade's illusion, Skull took Hibari's armband so that he would chase him all the way to Kokuyo Land. Once there, Hibari went on a rampage using his Cloud Hedgehogs and broke the illusion around the other Guardians, freeing them. He then witnessed Tsuna fighting against Demon with Mukuro's help. After Tsuna and Chrome received their inheritance, Hibari returned to Namimori.

The next day, Hibari and the others returned to the future to fight Byakuran and Real Six Funeral Wreaths for the last time.

However, Hibari was able to defeat Deisy once he used his Cambio Forma and confiscated the Sun Mare Ring. In the final battle, he later appeared to be killed by Kikyo, though it turned out to be an Illusion created by Mukuro and Fran, much to Hibari's reservation. Later, Hibari, along with everyone else present, had his Dying Will Flames drained by Ghost, causing them to heavily exhausted. When Byakuran appears, he and the others could only watch as Tsuna fight Byakuran alone. After Tsuna defeated Byakuran, he and the others returned to the past.

Inheritance Ceremony Arc[]

Chp 284 Adelheid and Hibari

Hibari meets Adelheid for the first time.

After being sent back to the past, Hibari soon started arguing with a transfer from Simon Middle School, Adelheid Suzuki, about the control of Namimori Middle School. The next day, they started fighting in the rooftop but were stopped by Tsuna. At the Ceremony, he surprised the entire Famiglia with his murderous intent and the fact that he had decided to show up at all. He states that the people who have disturbed the peace of Namimori Middle will be bitten to death. Later, he along with the other guardians was defeated by Enma, and had their Vongola Rings broken. After the Simon Famiglia left, Dino asked him if he was all right. Hibari replied that he was, with the exception of his pride. Later, while Talbot was upgrading the Vongola Rings, Hibari waited in a different room from Tsuna and the others. Like the others, he was able to show his resolve and his Vongola Ring upgraded into Bracelet of the Cloud Version X. Upon arrival at the Simon Island, he watches the others from a helicopter. When Adelheid appears to challenge the Vongola Famiglia he appears from helicopter along with Kusakabe who left shortly. He accepted Adelheid's challenge, claimed that she could not bite him to death and revealed his Vongola Gear, Modified Uniform, starting the battle.

Hibari defeat Ice Puppets

Hibari destroys four Blizzaroids

Before Hibari could attack, Adelheid encased herself in her Diamond Castle, claiming it was impenetrable. She then summoned 500 Blizzardroids, claiming that they all possessed the same level of skill as her and that they would take Hibari's arm band. Uninterested, Hibari calmly strikes down the first Blizzardroids that attack him using a Cloud Flame-enhanced chain shot out from his tonfas, much to Adelheid's surprise. Hibari then, after casually yawning, begins striking down the other Blizzardroids, switching between his tonfas, the chain, Roll and Alaudi's Handcuffs until all 500 have been destroyed. Undeterred yet surprised, Adelheid reforms several Blizzardroids behind Hibari, who dismisses them as not being a threat to him. Adelheid then asks Hibari why a man of his caliber has sided with Tsuna, and Hibari retorts that he isn't and asks Adelheid why she follows someone equally as pitiful. When Adelheid tries to defend Enma by saying he carries the sadness of Simon, Hibari remarks he is a small animal and that he keeps on screaming because he bears things too big for him. This sends Adelheid into a rage, who declares that Enma hates war and only chose this path to preserve the Simon, while sending her revived Blizzardroids to attack Hibari, who quickly cuts them down. Hibari then begins striking Adelheid's Diamond Castle, but his attacks seem to do nothing more than leave shallow cracks in the ice.

Chp 323 Adelheid and Hibari

Hibari defeats Adelheid.

As Adelheid revives her Blizzardroids again, Hibari quickly defeats them and continues trying to break the castle, but Reborn comments that if Hibari continues at this pace he would run out of stamina. When Adelheid claims that Hibari will never break her castle and take her armband, Hibari says that in some cases, small animals aren't weaklings and have their methods of survival; otherwise they would have died out long ago. He then comments that Roll would be the one to shatter her castle from the inside; as Adelheid ponders what he means, it is revealed that Hibari planted copies of Roll in each crack he left. He then has Roll go into Needle Sphere Form and the copies inside the castle grow and shatter it. Hibari then appears behind a stunned Adelheid who says that despite her loss, Enma would revive the Simon and Hibari would regret siding with the Vongola. Hibari responds that he isn't on either side but does as he pleases, which Adelheid claims makes him a true cloud of the great sky. While Hibari doesn't like her phrasing, he states that the sky does allow the clouds to move freely, but one day he would bite up the sky itself.

Chp 324 Hibari

Hibari retrieves Adelheid's arm badge.

After retrieving Adelheid's arm badge, he and the others witnessed the fourth key. Hibari then sensed Julie and Chrome's presence, demanding them to show themselves. Julie then revealed himself to be Demon Spade and the one who has set up the entire conflict. Seeing Demon easily incapacitated Kaoru, Hibari challenged Demon. Even though Demon advised him against it since Hibari used up most of his flame against Adelheid, Hibari retorted that Demon himself is incomplete. Wanting to avoid all-out-battle, Demon has Chrome trapped Hibari, Tsuna, and Reborn within her mist barrier. Hibari was ready to break through the barrier after learning Demon intends to take over Mukuro's body, but was forced to stand still after Demon reveals that destroying the barrier means Chrome's death. He watched Yamamoto arrived and briefly fight Demon before the latter retreated. He then spent the rest of the day sleeping.

Reaching Enma's castle and confronts Enma, Hibari respect Tsuna's wish and allows him fight Enma alone as Tsuna has regained his resolve. After Enma is defeated and returned to normal, they meet Mukuro who apparently has already defeated Demon. Hibari attacks Mukuro by throwing his tonfa, but is disappointed to see Mukuro's reaction was slower than usual because the illusionist has already used up most of his strength against Demon. Wanting to fight Mukuro at his prime condition, Hibari decides not to fight Mukuro at the moment. However, they soon learned that Demon in fact lost on purpose so he can possessed Mukuro's body before Mukuro's soul could return to it.

After Demon possesses Mukuro's body, Hibari challenges him to a one-on-one battle and tells Tsuna and the others not to interfere. He is shocked to see Demon using his Cloud Vongola Gear, but upon knowing that it was just an illusion, Hibari is confident that it won't win against the real thing. At first, he is seen gaining the upper hand until Demon copied Ryohei's Vongola Gear and uses Maximum Sunshine Counter. Hibari is able to dodge this since Demon let it miss on purpose and then traps Hibari into his Illusionary world like he did to Gokudera, Yamamoto, Lambo, and Julie. After Tsuna defeated Demon, Hibari exits the world and sees the final key. A week later, Hibari leaves to fight the recently released Mukuro. (Unfortunately, in volume 36 side picture, Mukuro is not present since he already left for Jura).

The Curse of the Rainbow Arc[]

Arcobaleno Request[]

Reborn asks Hibari if he wanted to be a part of the Representative Battle of the Rainbow; Hibari declined Reborn's request. Reborn states that Hibari got a severe case of hives after being with Tsuna and his Guardians during the long battle with Demon, affirming his dislike of grouping.

1st Day of Representative Battle of the Rainbow[]

Fon and Hibari

Fon and Hibari confront Team Reborn's members

Later, it is revealed that he became Fon's representative. Gokudera tried to dissuade him that being a representative means he'll have to crowd with other team members, but Hibari revealed that he is Fon's lone representative, meaning there are no other members other than himself. Hibari also revealed that another reason he joined Team Fon is because Team Reborn is full of people whom he wants to bite to death. Ryohei tried to attack him, but Hibari easily dodged and destroyed Ryohei's battler watch, eliminating him. He targeted Yamamoto and Gokudera next, but was immobilized by Yamamoto's Rain Flame Tranquility characteristic, which allowed Yamamoto and Gokudera to escape unharmed.

2nd Day of Representative Battle of the Rainbow[]

On the second day, before the battle started, Hibari revealed to Dino that one of his reasons for becoming Fon's representative was to bite him to death. At the evening, Hibari and Fon went to the hotel where Dino is staying, wanting to fight Dino immediately. However, upon his arrival just as the battle start, he and Fon encountered Team Mammon instead, amusing Hibari. They able to defeat Lussuria, Levi A Than, and Belphegor. When fighting Xanxus, Hibari has his body frozen by Mammon's illusion and was almost hit by Xanxus' attack, but was saved by Dino, who revealed that he saved Hibari under Reborn's instruction.

Despite the obvious disadvantage, Hibari still refused to be helped, insisting that he can fight and win alone. This forced Dino to make Xanxus serious and using his Cambio Forma. Hibari's hedgehogs were no match against Xanxus' destructive Flame of Wrath, leaving Hibari cornered. Dino gave Hibari an advice to deal with Xanxus' attack, which Hibari begrudgingly followed. Using his chain, Hibari aimed for Xanxus' Boss Watch, forcing Xanxus to change the trajectory of his gun, resulting with both sides saved from defeat. Before he could finish his battle with Xanxus, however, the watch announced that the battle is over. Hibari, cannot accepting the result unless the winner is decided, destroys his own Boss Watch and thus eliminates Team Fon from the Representative Battle. Since Xanxus was stopped by other Varia members from continuing their fight and destroying the boss watch, Hibari turns his attention to Dino instead.

Grand Convention[]

It revealed that Hibari had been fighting Dino since the end of the second day battle at Namimori Mountain until Tsuna arrived and revealed everything about Arcobaleno and the Representative war, shocking both of them. Later, he, along with people who Tsuna had contacted yesterday night gathered at Tsuna's house as Tsuna asked for them to fight together.

4th Day of Representative Battle of the Rainbow[]

Chp 400 Hibari and Jaeger

Jaeger sneaked behind Hibari.

At the fourth day and last day of Representative Battle of the Rainbow, Hibari is chosen as one elite members to fight against Bermuda and his team. He saved Dino from Jaeger's attack and work together with Mukuro to fight Jaeger's formidable strength. He was confident when Jaeger was unable to short warp due to his weapon, but this proven to be wrong when Jaeger short warp and appear behind Hibari, dodging Hibari's Vongola Gear. Tsuna arrived in time to save him from Jaeger's sneak attack. He and Mukuro protected Tsuna as Jaeger continued his attack, which Jaeger responded by stabbing them through their shoulders. Mukuro used his illusions to keep Jaeger in place as Tsuna shot his X-Burner at him, defeating the Vindice. However, this leaves Hibari and Mukuro gravely injured and they collapsed, unable to continue fighting. Bermuda interfered before Tsuna could destroy the boss watch. He destroyed Hibari's and the other remaining members' battler watches to prevent them from assisting Tsuna.

Hibari & His Many Hibirds

Hibari gets annoyed by Xanxus' disturbance.

After Tsuna defeated Bermuda and Kawahira removed the Arcobaleno curse, he was submitted into Namimori Hospital along with Dino, Basil, Varia, Byakuran, and Kokuyo Junior High Gang. Because of Xanxus' attack, the wall of his room was destroyed, disturbing his sleep. This annoyed him and he counter the attack with his tonfa and enter Xanxus' room as he said that he will bite those who disturb his sleep to death with several Hibirds flying around him, making Tsuna wonder how Hibari was able to sleep with all those Hibirds chirping. His tonfa caused the wall that connected to Mukuro's room destroyed, startling Mukuro and his subordinates who were eating their snacks with his tonfa chain strikes right on the spike of Mukuro's hair. Since their rooms are all connected, Reborn suggested to having a pillow fight, which they replied by suggesting another games that will cause more injuries, destroying some parts of the hospital. In the final chapter, he is shown when Tsuna narrates his thought of how he has friends that he could rely on now.
