Expulsion Crisis is the 4th chapter of Akira Amano's Katekyo Hitman Reborn!.
Synopsis
Tsuna is waiting to receive his test results from his science teacher, Nezu. As Nezu hands Tsuna his paper, he reveals Tsuna’s low score to the class who laughs. Hayato then arrives and ignores Nezu who comments on his punctuality. He heads towards Tsuna and happily greets him good morning causing the rest of the class to wonder about their relationship. As Tsuna tries to deny the accusations, Nezu insults him and Hayato causing Hayato to assault him.
Later, Tsuna and Hayato are summoned by Nezu who tells them that they were expelled. The principal tries to reason with him but Nezu offers that Tsuna and Hayato are to look for the 15 year old time capsule buried in the playground or be expelled.
Tsuna is walking through the school hallways, thinking about his situation. He then bumps into Reborn and Hayato. After apologizing to Tsuna, Hayato gives him some dynamites to blow up the playground and heads there first. After Hayato left, Tsuna overhears Nezu talking to one of his colleagues about the time capsule. Nezu reveals that the time capsule doesn’t exist and says that he will rethink the expulsion if Tsuna and Hayato split the playground in half. Just then, Hayato begins using his dynamites catching the attention of everyone. Tsuna, thinking that there is no way out of their situation, is shot by Reborn’s Dying Will Bullet. Tsuna is reborn with the dying will to split the playground.
Tsuna arrives at the playground and uses Leon as a pair of dowsing rods to locate the earth’s weakness. He finds the fault and, with the help of Reborn’s bullets and Hayato’s dynamites, splits the playground. Hayato then discovers some of Nezu’s old test papers in a 40 year old time capsule causing Nezu to be fired due to his fraud educational background. Tsuna and Hayato are able to evade the expulsion and Hayato reveals to Tsuna his perfect scores.
