Tsunayoshi Sawada vs. Fake Mukuro is the 72nd chapter of Akira Amano's Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Synopsis[]
The fake Mukuro throws his Iron Ball in midair, saying that hand to hand combat is his forte, and charges at Tsuna, who is sent flying. Tsuna tries to stand up but Mukuro appears in front of his and kicks him and grabs him in midair, pinning him to the ground. The iron ball then falls on Tsuna and Mukuro goes to face the others, thinking that Tsuna is dead. However, Tsuna recovers, saying that Mukuro is not evil. The two then charges at each other and Tsuna punches Mukuro is the stomach, causing him to spit blood and lose. As his dying will flame disappears, Tsuna tells Mukuro that he did not feel any fear towards him. Mukuro is impressed that Tsuna saw right through him and admits defeat, saying that that may be the reason that Mukuro is cautious of him. Tsuna is surprised with this but the man in front of him tells him that his a fake, much to everyone's surprise. The man then tells them that Mukuro did not get his photograph taken and is the one who took everything from him.
The man then recounts the day he met Mukuro. Five years ago, he belonged to a Mafia family in Northern Italy. He was an orphan and the boss and other members were the ones who brought him up. In order to repay them, he served as a family body guard until he was considered the strongest man in their area. One day, the boss picked up another orphan and he became the one responsible for him. He loved the boy the same way that the family loved him. Not long after that, he came home to find that all the members of his family was killed and enraged, he began to investigate and is surprised to know that the culprit was him. He used to wake up and see corpses lying at his feet. He even tried to commit suicide but he was under control by the boy, the boy whose name is Mukuro Rokudo.
After telling his story, the man tries to tell Tsuna about Mukuro's true objectives but is attacked by Chikusa Kakimoto before he can say anymore. Gokudera tries to go after Chikusa but he already ran off because, according to Reborn, his true objective was to silence the man. Tsuna goes to the man's side and asks for his real name. The man reveals his name to be Lancia and tells Tsuna that he can now join his family. He then closes his eyes, seemingly dead. Enraged, Tsuna tells the group that they should head for Mukuro's base. Reborn reminds him that they already used their last Dying Will Bullet, their last trump card but Tsuna is determined to fight and stop Mukuro once and for all. Reborn seems to be impressed with his student and tells him that Lancia isn't dead yet. They also decide to move Yamamoto to a safer location since he's still unconscious. Just then, one of Birds' birds arrive and heads back to one of the building to report its master's condition. Tsuna and the others finally know where to go...
