Character Outline

Byakuran is the former Boss of the Gesso Family, and the former incumbent Leader of the Millefiore Family due to the fact that he's dead, whose aim is to obtain "Utimate Power" (Tri-Ni-Set) by gathering the Vongola Rings, Mare Rings, and Arcobaleno Pacifiers together in one place; he has a portrait that has a slot for each item. To achieve his goals, Byakuran has ordered the complete extermination of the Vongola Family, even targeting their friends and Allies. He also had a special radiation released into the atmosphere in order to kill all Arcobaleno members. Before the appearances of the young Tsuna and his friends in the Future, Byakuran had been researching them, as well as time travel, in order to get a hold of the Vongola Rings, which had been destroyed in his time. Though he possesses the Sky Mare Ring, he has purposefully hidden his true Abilities, and maintains a carefree attitude, even during his fight with Mukuro Rokudo, whom he critically injured. Despite his ruthlessness toward his enemies, he has a cheerful disposition when around his Subordinates, especially toward Shoichi Irie. However this is only if they hold his interest, once he "gets bored" of someone he won't hesitate to have them killed. According to Shoichi, Byakuran's power can only be used during certain circumstances and that their era's unique events is what created his power. He has the ability to communicate with every other Byakuran that is in a different parallel universe giving him the knowledge and experience he gained from countless worlds. Similar to how Mukuro has the collective experience from living in each of the six realms of existence, he has the collective experience of living in every parallel universe in which he lives in.

Appearance

Byakuran has spiky white hair and light purple eyes. His distinguising feature is a purple tattoo under his left eye.

Plot Outline

Daily Life Arc

Revealed by Shoichi in Chapter 252, Byakuran met Shoichi's younger self many times after Shoichi came into possession of shells for the 10 Year Bazooka. However, his ability to see into parallel worlds was awakened as a result of the same Shoichi from the past meeting two different Byakurans of the Future. With this Ability, Byakuran was able to use knowledge from different parallel worlds to become ruler of each of them.

Future Arc

Byakuran is the leader of the Millefiore Family, which came about after a merger between his old Gesso Family and Uni's Giglio Nero Family.

He had a fight with Mukuro Rokudo who was spying on the Millefiore Family under the guise of Leonardo Lippi whose true identity says that he has always known.

Melone Base Invasion

Byakuran appears in hologram form at the end of the Melone Base Invasion to announce that he knew Shoichi would betray him, and that he had Real Funeral Wreaths waiting for the Vongola Family. They arrange for a game called "Choice" to be played in a few days time. The Vongola Family agrees and he disappears.

Choice

Byakuran is first seen going to get five of his Real Funeral Wreaths and later appears before the Vongola Family in the form of a giant storm cloud. He watches as Tsuna and his Guardians generate twice the amount of Fiamma Volts necessary to transport them, the rest of the Family, and their base to the Lightning Field that Tsuna goes on to select. He and his Family are already waiting for them there.

He explains the rules of Choice and he and Tsuna use the Gyro Roulette to select the participants. For his Family, Kikyo, Saru, Torikabtuo, and Daisy were chosen to participate. They come out victorious. However, when he comes to claim his prize, Shoichi reveals that when the two were creating Choice, if he lost their next match, he would get one request which he uses now; he requests a rematch. Byakuran refuses, claiming he never made such a promise. However, Uni suddenly appears telling Byakuran that as the co-leader of the Millefiore Family she should have a say in the matter. This prompts a serious look from Byakuran for the the first time since his appearance.

Byakuran comments that Uni is looking better, leading to Shoichi revealing that he drugged her and made her into a shell of her former self in order to gain control over Blackspell. Essentially turning her into a figurehead. Uni reveals that she countered this by putting her heart someplace "far away". She goes on to say she has the same power as Byakuran. After reiterating her reinforcement of the rematch, Byakuran shoots it down, at which point she withdraws her family from the Millefiore and asks protection from the Vongola.

Byakuran learns about Uni taking the Pacifiers and watches her make them glow. After witnessing the resurrection of the Pacifiers and the return of Uni's soul, he tries to force her to go back to his side but was stopped by Reborn. With a passive approach, Byakuran proposes to Uni that the Vongola Rings stay with the Vongola Family in exchange for her return to the Millefiore side together with the Arcobaleno Pacifiers. But Uni refuses the proposal saying that she knows why Byakuran wants her back. In response, Byakuran threatens Uni that harm will befall the members of the Black Spell if she continues with the betrayal but Uni stands firm.

As a result, he sends Torikabuto, Zakuro, and Kikyo to attack Vongola members but they were trapped by Hibari's Box Weapon. Thus, Byakuran himself pursues Uni who was escaping together with the Vongola Family and even states that he won't be stopped. When Bluebell asks Byakuran why he didn't kill Uni, Byakuran threatened to kill Bluebell should she mention it again. Byakuran and five of his Six Wreaths are currently on the search for Tsuna's Family. As the time being , Byakuran came back from one of the parallel world, stated that he found where Kawahira is and where he was hiding Tsuna and the others.

After the final battle between the Real Six Funeral Wreaths and the Vongola begins, Byakuran sent Ghost to the battlefield, however Ghost's ability to absorb Flames results in the death of 2 of the Real Six Funeral Wreaths. After Ghost is defeated by Tsuna, Byakuran himself shows up. Tsuna succesfully attacked Byakuran a few times but eventually Byakuran stopped him with a single finger. Before he got killed by Tsuna's X-Burner, a flashback appeared showing the time when the Cervello had chosen him to be the holder of the Sky Mare Ring.

Powers and Abilities

Due to Shoichi traveling to the Future and meeting two versions of him, it is known Byakuran's mind is connected to the minds of other Byakurans living in separate parallel universes. Because of this, he can share his knowledge and experiences with parallel Byakurans. Uni stated that his power is decreasing and becoming weaker as time passes. Uni stated that if Byakuran is defeated in a parallel world, all other Byakuran's in other parallel worlds will be destroyed.  Due to this, Byakuran knows and give knowledge the Real Six Funeral Wreaths about the Techniques of the Vongola and it's allies as what Daisy easily dodged Dino's ultimate Attack, and Zakuro successfully defeating Squalo.

White Finger - By using large amount of Flame to repulse the opponent away.

White Applause - An ultimate Defense Technique that will destroy any kind of Attack.

White Dragon - A Box Weapon used by Byakuran. It was first used in Chapter 275 when Byakuran was battling Tsuna.
