Hmm, well if the video versions seems to work on our articles ok, and we can find most/all of the songs that way, then switching to youtube sounds good to me ^^
Thanks for fixing the navboxes Ace, they look good! I have encountered another potential issue (I think). It doesn't look like spotify embeds appear anymore, instead they just create huge chunks of blank space. I'm hoping they'll fix this at some point but should we remove the embeds from the song articles for the time being so the articles don't look weird?
Revisiting this since I've now been forced onto the new platform; most of the theming looks good Ace! Thank you for taking care of that, though I have noticed a few templates that seem to be having issues? For example, when I visit character pages the only thing that shows beneath the Navigation section is "view talk edit characters" but no actual navbox. I checked a few other page types, like episodes, and they seem to suffer from no visible navbox now too. The expand button shows for half a second before disappearing, so presently I think any templates utilizing expand are non-functioning?
I'm still running the old theme while its still available or I'd let you know how it looks; but provided the color matches the header if its a gold-ish color and it isn't too contrasting on dark theme I'm sure it'll be great ^^
I got to see a preview for this upgrade when they held community connect back in March, hopefully they've taken some of the suggestions from those of us who saw the preview cause there were a lot of changes that weren't well received...
One thing I know a lot of people aren't enthused about, myself included, is that it seems like the background actually won't be adjustable anymore, not by us anyway (unless I read it wrong). The dark mode is good, but the changes to page elements/formatting that breaks a lot of templates is a huge pain and further limits our ability to custom the look of the site, which is disappointing.

I sent in a feedback form regarding the new platform and the person from CC who responded said they're looking into fixing certain site parts that broke or weren't migrated in the move. Iirc subpages may be one of the issues they're looking in to, but in the mean time I think that sounds like a fair work around
Issues I've encountered so far:
-Page tabbers have lost color/border styling
-Custom username coloring, such as on admins, appears to remove editor usernames when looking at the recent wiki activity sidebar [not 100% sure if this is a deprecation issue with the custom coding or some other feature of the migration)
-New categories have been automatically added to certain page types (eg. "Pages using DynamicPageList parser function" on image galleries)
-Reborn sprites on the main page's welcome template sit outside of both the template container & the main page borders, now located near the edges of the browser page as a whole
-Pages with certain templates (ie. image license template, japanese kanji/romaji/etc. template) will require double edits because after the initial edit the template will display a red error line. A second empty edit rectifies the issue.
-Infoboxes that tab between multiple images (ie. character infoboxes with current appearance and TYL) currently show no image at all outside of edit mode once a new edit has been made post-migration.
I'm very late to this discussion but yeah full length files is definitely a violation of fandom wiki rules (I recently had to go through one of the wiki's I admin because it had full length songs and drama cd tracks >>), so trimming them is probably a good idea ^^
